Completely agree - this song is a real highlight of a brilliant MM performance in Bus Stop. I too think she should have had a nomination at least - her performance in this film is still so fresh and modern and still holds up today. My favourite of her films by far :)

I'm a Southerner and know about Southern accents and Marilyn's accent was perfect. A lot of Hollywooders sound so phony when trying to do a Southern accent.
