No, I don't "want a piece of her" All I meant was that rather than have some cheap jack documentary makers interpretation of what she said it would be truer, more touching & probably more accurate to hear her own words. Why anyone would take offense at my comment is beyond me especially since her own words would give us more understanding & insight & eliminate falsehoods that have developed over the years. This film is taking the word of a doctor who helped cover up the mystery of her death.

I agree with you! "The end of everything" is very sad, confused and reflective...She seems to be dead. I'm very sad =(

While I completely understand what you're saying, from all accounts I've read about this particular shoot with Milton Greene, she was drunk (or drinking). I don't know about sad, but she was drinking champagne (at least I think it was champagne, can't remember).

Except she could never blend in to NY anonymously...not really... the paparrazzi were still there. At that photoshoot in Manhatten for Life Magazine, at around 6:00, there were crowds of people behind that photographer and security too. She wasn't just walking in a park, or down the streets alone, the crowds saw her and followed her. That's just something I thought to point out since I saw some behind the scenes images of those photos; and the narrarator here was sort of implying she was alone.

well.... it is impossible to get a pictureof a person icognito...then they are no longer incognito...she was able to spend most of her time in manhattan unbothered.

So far the photographer that took photos of her in the beginning of the video seemed like a pretty nice guy. I wish that they could have married because he seemed like he liked her as Norma. I wonder what would happen if it were 1962 and someone told her "I love you, Norma". Would calling her Norma help?

What is song playing 1:27s? She wanted just to be love, so in her younger years she confused that to be desire she thought that it was love and be loved. But along years pass she saw that she wasn't love just desire, and she wanted to be love to love

I think her words in therapy sessions should be respected and quoted...what do you want a piece of her? give her some privacy even in death

this doc. is very annoying.I wish they would let us hear the tapes instead of overdubbin with the narrators voice. Why do they have the narrator"quoting" marilyn ? It would be truer and more poignant if we could hear her. Also much of her voice that we hear is from the Life Magazine interview and they do not acknowledge that. It's beautifully edited & there is exquisitely beautiful footage of marilyn but there is something unethical about this production. marilyn deserves much better than this

Deep introspection was not for her..very dangerous. She should have stayed in a big movie studio...did comedy..

Really? Your an actress. I use to act & sing mostly on stage productions. I still sing. I took voice lessons for 7 years and had dreams of becoming an Opera singer. But, I had more of a love for jazz & old showtunes, Broadway. What have you appeared in? movies, theater, ect.? I love acting, but I love singing more. Oh, & just be yourself, & if its not good enough for people, Screw em. You don't need em, if "in order to be someone, you have to be someone else." Don't believe that crap. Ever.

You are wrong... I do not have any fantasy about MM...all I was saying was that if the tapes exist...and I believe they do....it would have been more interesting, less set up, and more honest of the film maker to let us hear her voice...This has nothing to do with my wanting to perpetuate any fantasy about Marilyn. You should read and understand more accurately what people write before you jump to your own conclusions.

gosh, why is it always when she poses sexy and wears something sexy and shoots, ppl say she was drunk and sad? what if she just felt like it when she wanted to shoot in those fishnet stockings or so...she doesn't have to be drunk to be like that...dammnn
