Come on guys talk things through and stop pushing things to the side!!” Haha 🤣🤣 and yeah the wait is gonna be rough but as long as Fukuda gets her time to cook I don’t mind it, I think atm she’s probably needing time to structure and put the finishing touches in how the events of the story will transpire going forward for the new arc since I’m assuming this chapter was the official end to the whole Haniel arc!! 🤔🤔

Well the manga use to be released in a biweekly manner meaning that 2 chapters every month for the most part with occasional break every once in a while but since the beginning of this new arc Fukuda has made the series be released in a monthly manner because she said she needed more pages and time to complete the arc in a way that she would like!! :) ha so pretty much the series has been released in a monthly schedule for a while now but we’re still not sure if after the current break if we will be back to a monthly release as we have for a while now or perhaps a biweekly schedule as in the past, if I had to put money on it will be back to a monthly schedule since that’s what Fukuda seems to prefer!! Haha and yeah the Handel arc was arguably one of the best arcs in the entire series thus far and I can’t wait to see what’s about to unfold in the new upcoming arc!! 😁😁

So to summarize everything in a short story pretty much Gojo gave Marin a very disappointing glance during a very important moment for her involving a very meaningful cosplay that she was wearing when all she wanted was so reassurance from him which she didn’t receive!! After that they haven’t talked to each other whatsoever and their relationship seems pretty awkward and distant atm 🥲💔

Honestly there’s too many to name!! haha 🤣🤣 some of them are “Marvel Legends figures, Prime1Studio statues, FREEing Bunny Figures, Megahouse Statues, etc.” I have a pretty big collection to say the least haha cx

I highly doubt that will be getting a new female lead introduced this late into the story but I could see a side character being introduced in the future but any sort of rival for her or love interest involving Gojo wouldn’t make a lot of sense since Gojo really isn’t aware of the whole relationship thing as a whole plus Gojo will pick Marin over any random girl in a moments notice so I don’t see that happening!! Haha and as for Marin not talking to Gojo in this chapter I can see 2 different scenarios in why she didn’t, the first one being that she’s very pissed/embarrassed about being forced to spend time with her dad in front of the guy she loves while being scolded by him throughout the whole thing and embarrassing her nonstop which to be fair that could be solely the reason why. I’ve dated girls in the past in which this was very much the case so I’m talking from experience that this might be why she acted the way she did, now as for the second possibility it might be because as she said “I guess I’ll just pretend like nothing happened” and she might feel like maybe giving Gojo some space to clear his head might be the best way to forget about the whole misunderstanding at the convention since after all it’s only been a day since the convention so it’s still pretty fresh in their mind so maybe Marin not bringing it up rn was in her opinion the best course for the time being but honestly who knows since this is just my speculation after all haha and I would highly disagree in saying that the author sucks at rom-com moments and its narrative as whole since to me “My Dress-Up Darling” is a pretty solid Slice Of Life/Rom-Com all things considered, all the humor, narrative, and romantic moments are pretty well done and handled in my opinion for the most part as a slice of life & rom-com enjoyer myself having read series like “love is war, my love story with Yamada-Kun, My Love Story, Tomo-Chan is a girl, Skip and Loafer, etc.” but that’s just my opinion and you’re completely fine in disagreeing with it!! :) and I think will get some explanation into both Marin and Gojo’s inner thoughts in later chapters so I’m not worried about that but will just have to wait and see until then!! 😁😁

Oh yeah I absolutely agree with that since Fukuda to me is a master in making her audience get really engaged with her story!! Haha and oh yeah you’re right in their time Valentine’s Day is just around the corner so Fukuda could be cooking up something spicy just for the occasion!! 🔥🔥 and like you said there’s just so many different ways that the story can go and I honestly think Fukuda is taking this extra month break to put the finishing touches and properly structure this upcoming arc to her absolute true vision because I really feel that with all of the new developments that the story has taken as of recent that something really special is about to unfold in the next arc!! 👍🏻👍🏻

No way man, these types of scenarios work for things that get released each week. Having to wait a month or two is insane… you might as well watch NTR to get that insane frustration fix…. The only way it can be saved is if there is a confession and then we get chapters of them actually having problems and communicating because successful relationships don’t work like this. He has a lot of inner demons he needs to fix and she is the one to help him get through them so the sooner they become a couple the faster his arc to becoming the greatest cosplay designer and overall person. I know they wanna milk this for as long as they can but that just leads to rushed endings like the example below. We get a time skip where she is a pro model and he’s a pro doll maker. They see each other, have coffee talk about life and figure out they’re both married and then say goodbye forever end. Sorry my inner Gojo came out

@@LaughterOfSilence well for all we know Fukuda might have some health or personal reasons that limit her ability to draw the manga in a manner that happens to be only monthly. So I’m honestly not stressing or have any trouble in waiting 2 months for a new chapter, some of my favorite manga’s of all time go on indefinite hiatus like Nana, Berserk, and Hunter X Hunter so waiting just 2 months is no big deal since I also read and watch many more anime/manga series in the meantime!! Haha cx and as for the time skip scenario you just brought up yeah I don’t see that playing out at all. Once the story does come to a conclusion someday I’m most certain we will have Gojo and Marin dating before then, for a prime example “Love Is War” has both of the main leads finally date around the halfway section of the story and I can totally see something like that happening in MDUD for sure but will just have to wait and see!! 😁😁

@@Georgymon you guys who wait have such strong resolves it’s why I can hardly, if ever, get into newer mangas or unfinished ones anymore. I don’t have time to wait or sometimes it’s too long and I get interested in other things and forget lol but I tend to like romance with older characters, maybe my age, but it seems to be more tolerable for me since the main characters have a clue on how to interact with others Or have great supporting characters who help them along the way. I think I have PTSD from mangas like ‘GE: Good Ending’ or Kimi no Iru Machi. Like they’re good but man what a freaking rollercoaster of frustration Anyways great video and review I’ll be sure to check more out and maybe find a new manga to pick up.

Sadly we still don’t have a confirmation date for season 2 however we do know that they’re currently in production on it so hopefully will get it sometime by the end of the year or perhaps early 2025 but that’s just wishful thinking!! 😁😁

Some great slice of life rom coms I would totally recommend for you to watch would be “My Love Story, Love Is War, My Love Story With Yamada-Kun, Tomo-Chan Is A Girl, Skip And Loafer, and Fruits Basket” to name a few of my all time favorites!!

We still don’t know 100% why or what made Gojo look sad/unhappy 🥲🥲 if I had to guess it was probably either Gojo doubting his own worth from realizing that he is in love with Marin yet she’s out of his league completely in his own eyes (even tho we clearly know that’s not the case) or it could be himself just feeling like his cosplay didn’t live up to his own expectations of perfection and he feels like he let Marin down or possibly that he saw the cosplay scouting agent talking to Marin and he was sad thinking about Marin leaving him behind and perusing a career of become a pro cosplayer!! There’s honestly sooooo many theories/speculations regarding why Gojo looked super sad during the end of the convention and I can’t wait to finally see what was the cause of his sad face sometime soon whenever a new chapter finally clarifies things in the near future hopefully!! I mean it’s pretty common in Japanese culture for teenagers to live alone while their parents work overseas and are not around for the most part. They also have very strict laws for teenagers modeling so I’m sure Marin and her dad weren’t in any real danger specially knowing that Marin would leave the modeling job at any point if she didn’t feel comfortable. Plus the worst thing that she’s had to experienced while being a part time model atm has just keeping up with her diet which has been her worst enemy/struggle thus far!! Haha and no her dad has known about Gojo in the past but he just now realized that he has been making all of her cosplays so he was upset at Marin because he thought she was taking advantage of him which she obviously wasn’t haha and I’m sure that the dad doesn’t mind her daughter constantly being around a guy friend while cosplaying since he’s her photographer after all and she is a model so I’m sure he’s fine about the whole situation and seems to have a lot of thrust and love for Marin!! Papa Kitagawa is great!! ❤️❤️ haha

@Georgymon I admit I don't know much about Japanese teenager work laws, but it still feels like it could get bad, but maybe I'm just ignorant 😅 But her dad worrying she's exploiting him, not thinking for a second about the fact that they are two young, hmmm.... *healthy teenagers and what maybe happen is kinda funny, in a naive and sweet way. They are kids and we cannot assume they think like adults. They are learning about themselves and the new feelings they are going through. Confusion, doubt, fear are more likely what's going through their minds and that itself is alot to take from a child's perspective. Also, this story is a Japanese story and the culture and mindset must be also taken into consideration. Japanese are not one that come out so obviously and straight forward. Things tend to be more suppressed. Can you imagine now how the kids are feeling and not know what to do or how to do it.

Thank you for the very well thought out and put together explanation breaking down the whole situation that unfolded in this chapter because I see a lot of very key points that you brought up that I find to be fantastic!! 👏🏻👏🏻 yeah during the entire chapter I kept thinking to myself about how it’s definitely both Marin and Gojo’s fault that this issue isn’t being dissolved, I’ve also seen some discourse online pointing fingers at only Marin for not approaching Gojo which I don’t find completely fair at all because I can flip the narrative and blame Gojo just as easily for not approaching Marin as well!! At the end of the day I love both Gojo and Marin very much as characters but I honestly wanted to pull both of their ears and yell “she/he loves you dummy!!” Haha 😆😆 I think the next upcoming arc will definitely set a precedent in Gojo’s character finally being able to express his emotions fully without having to keep them to himself and I really hope that at some he is able to tell Marin just how special she is to him and in the flip side I also hope that Marin is able to share her feelings towards him, if I had to guess they’ll probably have a very big argument of sorts that will eventually lead up to a confession from Marin by accident!!
