They all save 30 to 45 minutes over simply driving from the WH to Andrews. It's a 59 minute drive. Plus the enormous expense in prep time, people expense and aircraft expense. If I were POTUS, I would drive.
When he drives they clear the roads, so it's only about 20 minutes to get there. But to do that they shut down traffic for half the city, so sometimes it's easier to fly.
