ppl who are confused about a quince I'll sum it up it's basically a Hispanic tradition where the girl turns 15 which is a coming of a age meaning your no longer a child on this special day you are given a doll as your finally present of being a child and you get a ring not sure why my mom never told me why I think it's just to remember that day. ALSO!!! you have chambelanes which are your honor of escort you dance with them then there a dance with your father and sometimes a surprise dance there call also be damas which are female versions of Chanbelanes again I don't know what the girls stand for. So coming from a Latina who's having her quince this month this is about how much I could sum it up I left some stuff out BTW I don't know if Americans do what we Hispanics do because our tradition originated in Mexican if I am mistaken sorry it just probably came into America they mostly do sweet 16, but they can have sweet 15. too okay I'm done typing my fingers are gonna fall off PEACE
My brother is in the Navy and watching videos like this makes it all worth it. All the days spent missing him, the times I've needed him there, but they never really leave. If I know that a few more days of my brother serving can indirectly lead to another getting to come home to his family and that one day my brother will get the same opportunity, it's all worth it in the end. I am so proud of my brother for the choice that he made to serve his country and I miss and love him every day.
He will there is no doubt about that. I just came back after 6 years and got to see my fianće and my daughters. It's a great feeling. A lot of happy tears but a great feeling. I hope you see him soon
E igual no me acuerdo que no se le puede quitar el pelo a mi cumpleaños de los 🤷 🙄 y el 3 de la madre y 🤷 🙃 que se les ha ido de la mano y tu me dices si 🤷 🙄 y te 🤷.
wow this is awesome. who here was cutting onions LOL my brother is in high school ( a junior) and I am 11,when he graduates high school he is planning on joining the marines. many nights I have nightmares and I pray a lot
for most hipanic families they celebrate the sweet 15 or most common known(its the same thing but said in spanish) as a quinceanera but for most american families it is the sweet 16
+kathryne wright Oh I'm sorry smart ass but should i know everything even though it is in Portuguese and I'm only 13. No i don't think so. Also most of the time it is called a Sweet 16 not a sweet 15. So shut your face the hell up and piss off.
Name of piano song? On a second note, how do so many people not know what a Quinceanera is? Yes she's holding a doll, the doll is a symbol of her as a child before the transition into womanhood.
in some countries when a girl turns 15 she is now a woman and they can start wearing high heels it's a right of massage for girls . it's usually seen it south American and mexico
She holds a doll and then change it for another thing more adult, I don't remember what. I just know this ceremony simbolizes the girl is not more a child ;)
Just bc he was in boot camp he was gone away from his family for up to 12 weeks no communication at all just one phone call a week for 10 mins it is hard on a family bc ive went through and they will give you metals in boot camp so don't be commenting things like "they act like he been over seas" Bc if you haven't experienced it then you don't know why it feels like.
some of the comments here are a bit nasty, I did not know what a Quinceanera was, and I live in the UK, but read some of the posts. I just hope I remember the word and it's meaning.
