Just a warning for all that are playing with overpowered flat bottom boats. I found this out when I was 12 I put a 6hp on a 10' pram it hauled ass going straight but if you turn and the chine trips it will toss you out and roll the boat. That was my 1st crash, I raced boats for 20 yrs after that.
Hi, I have the same motor and the magnetto lever that connects to the stator is not smooth in rpm ranges. It gets stuck even after using penetrating oil and turning it a few hundred times. It doesn't run smoothly when I accelerate so the engine Boggs down unless I turn the lever all the way to the right, also it idles at high rpm speed because lever doesn't go back. Any idea what it could be?
