i've worked with IGN for a long time now and when i saw that review i called my bossa and told him to *fix that fucked up statement* he was SO fucking PISSED at me for saying that to him. he asked me *what the fuck do you know about any of these things? you a marine?* i answered *no, i'm not. but as a norwegian AT unit and reserve scout/sharpshooter i find that statement offensive. marines and all other military units LOVED how this game was made. they talked and interviewed over 700+ different marines and AP units (AP = Anti Personell) ti get the most legitemized game experience they could make.* my boss fired me to keep me from spreading this *bullshit* as he called it. now i have been promoted to active firsthand review chief and my old boss has nothing. in other words, this game was hand tailored from scratch with the help of over 700 different marines and AP units alike. i loved this game, not only for it's amazing gameplay but the way it was portrayed. it is an almost perfect represantation of real life military field ops. 10/10.

Not sure what marines know about special operations. Most of the stuff they say is general gun safety and military common knowledge. But I guess that's insider info to some.

@@maaz322 what do you do in the military? they were in special operations. It showed Jason was with MARSOC, recon and scout snipers at one point in his career. Besides Patrick being a Marine he was also a Navy Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewman which supports Seals and is most definitely under SOCOM.

Will Bo Yes, but as they proceeded to move out, in the actual military footage, they developed around 5 meter spacing between each person. Think of it this way, if one guy steps on a land mine, they don’t want the mine getting two birds with one stone, also one person being spotted if they have proper distance maintained means that it doesn’t instantly give away more than that one persons position, etc...

Just that mission in particular though always makes the hairs on my neck stand and my heart start to sink as the Rangers desperately call off support as your getting overwhelmed. Pronominal mission.

Realism really kicked my ass but I actually played like pretty tactically. Made sure I never got shot. Most of my gunfights were tap firing too

I got shot in the head with a shotgun. Blew my mind literally.

I played through on realism got through it all apart from the very last mission in the chemical plant, so hard
