Mark "Billy" Billingham served in the British SAS for over 17 years. He was responsible for planning and executing strategic operations across the world, and has led countless hostage rescues.
Since leaving the military he has worked as both a celebrity bodyguard, appears on Channel 4's "SAS: Who Dares Wins", "SAS Australia", and has just released his latest book "Survive To Fight".
Today he's joining us once again to break down and react to some of the most iconic missions from the Call of Duty franchise, including CoD 4, Modern Warfare 2, and Modern Warfare 2019

What I loved about MW 2019 was Kyle’s character arc. He starts off angry and wanting to “take the gloves off and fight” and over the course of the game he gets to do that but is forced to cross his own moral boundaries, making him become more seasoned and aware why there are rules of engagement in the first place.
@lastpringle8904
@lastpringle8904 6 месяцев назад
And in contrast to Alex who's already there. He likely already understands why rules of engagement are there and is willing to ignore them if he has to. He understands what taking the gloves off means. He can also see when his superiors are making dumb decisions. He's loyal, but not blindly so and I'd say he learned that from his time with Farah if he didn't learn it already.

I love how he has to be a bit more tounge in cheek with the old games like CoD4 and MW2 as they were more like action films, but when it gets to MW19 and MWII - games which actually used veterans and people like him as consultants - it gets a lot more realistic and he gives them props for it.
