Your levels are amazing. How about a short series on advanced level creation? Not only can you walk people through the tools like copy, but maybe show people some tricks for doing unique things the game designers had never planned. Work arounds to common problems, etc...

I don't know what it is... the same thing happened with Bob-Omb Battlefield, but whenever you re-create Mario 64 levels in Mario Maker I'm filled with so much joy and it makes my day. Maybe because of nostalgia. Thank you, GameXPlain! Glad I'm subscribed to you guys!

Top Five things you didn't know about the Idea Booklet: 1. Iwata's Memorial on P.73 2. Warp Zone Locations on P.64, 72,81,93, and 94 3. Koji Kondo's performance on P. 02 4. Tezuka and Miyamoto Performance signature on p.96 5. On P. 72 all of the numbers on the sticky note including the scratched out ones detail the same level. All but the first one are hidden codes on those pages. GL.

Another amazing 2D recreation. These have actually been my favorite levels that I have seen from Mario Maker. Yeah, nostalgia is a part of it but you have done such an amazing job making these levels! While I watch the playthrough I have this big grin on my face the whole time because I recognize the nods to the original levels from Super Mario 64. Fantastic job! When I finally get Mario Maker I will definitely be snagging these. P.S. This is my favorite one yet. Not just for the recreation but for the technical side too. Duplicate mansions and rooms to get around the four door limit? Clever as hell. 10/10, would Mario again.

I immediately got excited when I saw this in my sub box. This was my favorite area!!!! SO atmospheric, and we'll probably never have something quite like it again. And it just screamed Halloween.

At this rate, tiny huge island will be made before I can!! Just think... Warp pipes leading to a sub world of giant enemies in a scaled up version of the original world! Could totally work in this game.

This was the first level I ever played in Super Mario Maker. Great job Andre, I like the idea of N64 level re-makes. I'm gonna need another day to beat Star Frogger though, lol.

You know, in a way, having to run through that one Boo-infested room before the starman wears out is kind of like having to get through the same room in the original with the Vanish Cap in order to reach the sixth star in the attic.

It's pretty funny, I was playing this Mario maker level, then thought to myself I want to know tips of how to make some levels as awesome as this one I'm playing. I search for tips on RU-vid, one of your videos pop up and it was a really helpful awesome video so I subscribed. Anyways, as I'm looking through your videos I find this one, the boo level. This is the level I was playing which made me want to find tips of how to create in the first place. Crazy. This is a really fun creative level and I'm going to be playing all your levels now. That was amazing! I wish I could be this creative! My levels are all right... I try to keep a normal Nintendo-ish feel to them. (By that I mean I try to make actual levels that feel like they'd be in a Mario game)

Easter Egg: There are rare death soundtracks that can play when you fall in a pit, such as Mario getting in a car and driving away, and one where he apparently meets all his other past lives which fell in the pit.

Hey guys. Just noticed a potential "cool bits" within Mario Maker. As you know, when placing an item down it plays a noise that plays out the main melody depending on the stage you're on. What I've only just noticed is that it actually says the name of the item you're placing. Noticed on the SMW castle theme when I suddenly heard the words "Yoshi Egg."

I recreated the final Bowser level in Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the game, but I forgot to save it. I'm going to try to remake more 3D levels though. This is really cool! Do some other levels from games!

Not quite as faithful as your Bob-omb Mountain level, but it's still REALLY cool! A really good puzzle, honestly, and GREAT as a stand alone. I wish you could make it so you had to hit those question mark blocks in a different order, though. It's also pretty short, and I wish there were a few more enemies, at least outside the mansion, but what are ya gonna do?

You guys have not done a video on the wing cap secret. I found out that if you get a star with the modern Mario amiibo, it plays the Mario 64 wing cap theme. Like the metal Mario theme with the gold/silver Mario amiibo.
