@@miquelmoorrees6010 The fact that he instantly teleported from one level into half way through another, without any explanation of where this level was, why he was there, or how he got there?
2:03 RU-vid lawyers be like "he said no copyright intended so it be legal". It's legal to make ROM hacks because Nintendo vs. Galoob case concluded that hacks are basically fair use. Not because "durrr no copyright infringement intended".
I think it's funny someone on the early internet probably wrote that pretty much just asking for mercy and knowing it doesn't mean anything, and a bajillion people started adding it thinking it's a phrase to keep the lawyers away.
Imagine what this man could create with a multi million dollar budget with a team to bring his visions to life We would have a mario game that Nintendo could only dream of making, wait ... sorry, he done that already on his own, for free!
GPB talking about the gun game mechanic, how it’s a great double jump, and how you could replace it with a cannon. Has he played Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse?
Coming from a professional musician you could not be more wrong about maestros. If anyone gets lost he has to know the WHOLE score so he can get that person back on and cue them. Their preparation is ridiculous…
A lot of people underestimate how much the maestro is actually doing because all they see are hand gestures, finger wiggling, and wand waving. They dont realize every movement is important. That every move is an instruction. Change the tempo. Prepare to mute. You, third row fourth chair in the brass section, you're out of harmony, skip ahead to the next line and wait for my cue... and... cue! I'm not a maestro, but my highschool band teacher was, and he would rave about the importance of proper conducting for orchestral and especially operatic performances.
@@Taolan8472 I had the pleasure of working with one of the maestros from LA opera this summer. He talked about how maestros have to attend many years of training just to teach their ears, much less their hands. Truly a brutal profession. I just open my mouth and make noise. He’s the music maker.
I was in marching band and we had a drum major. Besides starting the individual songs didn't know why. If I'd got off track I'd jump in at the part I know.
At first, seeing that he made it optional to do the puzzle made me think. "Huh. Thats nice." After seeing it wasnt in fact optional, i was like....."yeah, that sounds more like barb" lol.
I love your reaction and what you said when you find the picture of you and Barb 😊 You just stumbling through the adventures that he created, feels like you're Marty McFly and Barb is Dr. Emmett Brown 😅
I’d be so interested to see if you could solve that puzzle by using substitution instead of seeking the hints. I could figure out spring = 4 before the guano grotto hint.
Poo, Chattanooga is directly in the middle of Nashville, Atlanta, and Knoxville. You could get a huge group because no one would have to travel more than two hours to get there :)
To me the Ship and **DIRECTION** thing made me think of "You Don't Know You're Beautiful", a One Direction song which, iirc, was one of the songs on the radio.
DAMN, the end of this video made me smile and laugh a lot. And I'm a very depressed person, it's a real delight to get genuine joy from watching GPB experience joy like that. And all the feels from solving a challenging series of puzzles! And here I thought based on the thumbnail and the opening of the video that Mario packing heat was going to be the highlight of the video. There are depths that go far beyond the simple joys of firearm ownership!
Interesting puzzle. Solved the math once you had S=4, because it left only 3 unknowns, and all the numbers 1-9 seemed to be answers. Since RS was 4 more than GS, that meant they could only be 7 & 3, leaving the remaining unused 6 for Key.
This is a super clever mechanic that honestly… I could see Nintendo trying. Maybe instead of a real gun they’d do one of the ones from the MarioXRabids games but, yeah I can see it
@@Zapdos7471 I can see Nintendo doing that for a 2D game but, idk I think the Rabbids gun would be more cool. Sure with FLUDD you get hover capabilities but I think you’d miss out on a lot of the features a gun provides, like being able to bounce off your own bullets or use it midair to instantly get or stop momentum
Okay, i HIGHLY doubt this being the reality, but back when barb was making GPW3 i suggested him to put "Hot drinks" Into GPW3 and he said in response "Some of you come up with the STUPIDEST ideas" WELL WHOS LAUGHING NOW BARB?!
To make you feel better about the math poo, 2 equations with 3 unknowns is unsolvable. You always need at least the same number of equations as unknowns. So good call going to get another number instead of fighting with the math
It was guessable at that point if you assume it would use up all digits 1-9, which is what I did. Was possible that was wrong, but seemed likely given the known answers at that point.
@calxier At 11:36 Let BP = 8 Assume each variable is a positive integer. Assume there's no overlap: 1 BlueShell 4 Spring 5 YellowShell 8 BP 9 Yoshi GP is a square root of 4. The smallest positive integer solution to the equation "RedShell + Key = GreenShell*GreenShell + GP + GP" is 7 + 6 = 3 * 3 + 4 The next smallest one is 10 + 30 = 6 * 6 + 4 Then 11 + 42 = 7 * 7 + 4 After that it's 14 + 90 = 10 * 10 + 4 If we assume that none of the variables are larger than 100, we already have very limited solutions. If we assume that all of the variables are digits, only the smallest solution works.
I will say that as good as GPW3 has been, I was slightly disappointed with the puzzle. Not because its a bad puzzle (it's great), but because the puzzle in GPW2 was just so outrageously good that it set my expectations unreasonably high lol. For GPW3, I was half expecting GPB to have to turn into Nicholas Cage to go steal the Magna Carta or something.
just gonna leave this here: "Arturo Toscanini, one of the most acclaimed virtuoso and conductors in the world, was the musical director and conductor of the NBC Symphony Orchestra during the first half of last century. After he died, the NBC orchestra musicians claimed that they were so knowledgeable and well trained in the skills and musical interpretations of Toscanini, that they could produce the same musical effects of Toscanini without a conductor. They lasted less than a year."
the *conductor* or maestro as you called them (technically correct but maestro tends to refer to a musician that is distinguished) also has to lead the entire orchestra in all of it's practices. They are the ear that listens to how the ensemble plays and corrects what needs fixing as well as coaxes out the subtle nuances of the piece of music. It isn't an easy job by any stretch and any piece of music that is deemed beautiful by the listener owes that joy to not only the players but the conductor A bit preachy I know but tbh it doesn't matter what I comment since Poo gets the engagement anyway lol I'm glad to be experiencing GPW 3. It's been a treat
Nintendo definitely should not give Mario a gun. But something with that kind of reverse momentum gameplay, that would be sick! Maybe since boomerangs are a thing, a heavy boomerang or a shot put? Or like give the elephant powerup the ability to blow air or water out of its trunk for momentum 😂or something like the FLUDD but in 2D and less sustained
