What a sendoff it was for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, not only the Booster Course added the characters everyone loved the most, but also the fact that Wii Rainbow Road is the final track makes me want to cry even more. Hopefully we get a Mario Kart 9 soon. If not, it's been a hell of a wild ride
i remember my first time racing on paris prominade in the booster course pass. the way you drive the track backwards on the third lap made me go “woah! i’ve just been in this place before!”

Every game has a map called Mario Circuit (except 64, that's a raceway, but what's the difference, anyway?), so I guess you could say each game can make one feel a serious sense of deja vu when you see Mario Circuit listed when selecting a map or cup.
I love how you can hear undertones of the Raceway theme in the MK64 section and undertones of Moonview Highway in the Wii section. Feels even better. Might help to listen with headphones I still think that the Super Mario Kart bit should have used the Rainbow Road sounds instead of the Mario Circuit ones, but hey, anything for having the title of Mario Circuit (Final Lap).
Hint: Snaking is a Technique in Mario Kart DS where you constantly chain *drifts* together when diving, this technique is usually best done on straightaways
This whole rip is phenomenal, but that Double Dash section was the pinnacle of mastery. If it somehow gained a physical form, I'm 99% sure it would beat God in a fight.
This is genuinely one of the single best rips I've ever heard, and the style of each game is just nailed absolutely PERFECTLY! Whoever you are, person who did this, this is genuinely incredible.
MK8DX has been a blast and it’s bittersweet to see it be over with the Booster Course Pass. However, I’m still very curious how Nintendo will reinvent the wheel for the next Mario Kart.
I like how was some of these you can actually tell that it's based on certain tracks like SMK Mario circuit, and 64 raceways, DS shroomridge and 7 Music Park just to name a few
i feel like the booster course pass should have gotten it's own segement, if the tracks in the booster course pass were from base game they would sound WAY different that said, awesome medley
