Good job. We got him to use 36 1-ups, but he's still got a lot left and he's collected quite a few coins along the way. We can only stop him so many times. He continues onwards, like an unstoppable juggernaut of italian destruction....

So about that rant in the opener, in one of the manuals from one of the first games it says that goombas actually betrayed the Mushroom Kingdom, koopas work for the guy who kidnapped the princess, thwomps try to squish Mario if he dare comes near, chain chomps always try to pounce on Mario, and more. Now Mario is a villain in some cases (excluding player inputs) but not in that way.
