The Mario Kart series is one of the most iconic of all time, one of the few series that is universal; we've all played Mario Kart no matter which episode it was, and we've all understood, controller in hand, that these games are special, that they have a different aura from others, that they make us feel a whole range of emotions in just a few seconds. Mario Kart games are very exotic and different from what we can find elsewhere, and yet, it's one of the few series to have successfully crossed the ages without ever disguising itself and to have achieved success with each episode. Today, in celebration of the series recently celebrated 30th anniversary, we look back on each installment of the main series, tracing their development, the context of the time, with an analysis of each game and how they have managed to evolve and adapt to their era each time, becoming one of the most beloved game series. Buckle up because today, we are going through the history of a legendary series, here's the story of Mario Kart.

This video was great, nostalgic, and really well edited. I love your videos so far. However, there are a lot of mistakes. Such as Rock Rock Mountain being called Wario Mountain. You say 'Wario and his brother' during the Double Dash segment, when I think you meant Waluigi? You mention the Wii took off after Mario Galaxy, which isn't true. And you mention Smash Bros 3DS uses the 3D effect from the star road track in Mario Kart 7...what does that even mean? There are a lot of other little mistakes. ...I get the feeling chat GPT is writing a lot of this...

C'était deja arrive a Nathaniel Bandy et il a fini par retrouver sa chaine. Il suffit d'avoir un vieux mail avec un mot de passe moins safe que les autres lie a son compte gmail et hop hacké mais bon je ne sais pas ce qui lui est arrivé specifiquement.

With MK8 DX, I’ve never played so much Mario Kart since the SNES. So much content and gameplay, and perfect and well balanced to play with kids - the main audience in the series, not the experts. That’s why the border protection and the automatic driving. All my kids started when they were 3 years old and join the fun! I really appreciate that, and think that Mk8 is the pinnacle of the series.

Super Circuit was fantastic. I was absolutely blown away by how good it was, even coming from years of MK64 and being used to the 3D with analogue control. Like the original, it's a bit rough to go back to now with a couple years of 3D MK now being almost 3 decades, but it's still a gem for sure.

Criticizes MK8D for online multiplayer because MK8U players have an advantage from experience. Very next line then criticizes MK8D for removing fire hopping, an exploit exclusively exploited by high level MK8U players that would have given the biggest advantage of anything. Do you not see the foolishness of these complaints? You’re blaming criticizing the game for giving old players an advantage and then criticizing them for not giving old players a much much bigger advantage. You can’t have it both ways, so which one is the legitimate complaint and which one would you like to apologize for?

I really wish there was a stand-alone Mario Kart console. I've had a Switch, Wii, and DS and pretty much the only games I ever put time into on those consoles was MK, unlike SNES, N64 and GBA where I played endless MK, but TONS of other games as well. But if Nintendo put out a little plug & play MK console, I'd snag one up without hesitation. I've been playing video games for over 4 decades, and this is probably the only series I can think of that would warrant its own little module.

In Double Dash, you only need to beat 5 cups to unlock all the characters. Star Cup 100cc Special Cup 100cc Special Cup 150cc All Cup Tour 150cc Star Cup Mirror You don’t need to touch any of the other cups in 100cc to unlock the Special Cup, only the Star Cup. Same goes for the All Cup Tour. Just Special Cup 150cc is required. You know the rest.

Considering you’re using a narrator to read a translated script, I blame him for some inconsistencies😂 for example, during Mariokart Wii he says “inside draft” instead of “inside drift” I honestly thought this video was AI generated as soon as he called Coconut Mall “the Supermarket Track”😂 but that’s when I saw it was translated that being said, great video dude

Great video! One thing I'd recommend, when showing older 3D consoles such as N64, GameCube, and Wii, you should try to capture the footage in the consoles' original resolution. When doing a historical retrospective it's more true to how the games were playable at the time, and also shows the actual technical progression. Showing all the games with HD rendering diminishes that somewhat. Hope you keep making content, been enjoying all the videos so far!

In regards to Wii colors being washed out and a little blurry I find that happens with using HDMI converters on the Wii systems. If you find an older TV that has component connection it's actually more clear and colorful that matches the gamecube double dash

i'll never understand the praise for MK Wii's trick system, and the following games that kept it. it doesn't have depth to explore like how snaking and normal drifting let you toy with your turn rate or when you release and so on. you just. press the button and get speed. it's a "keep the player busy" mechanic

Mario kart Wii was overrated and not the best, hackers were EVERYWHERE in that game. Hackers and the addition of bikes really hurt the game. And you didn't mention hackers for the wii like you did the DS.

The video would be perfect if it didn't rely on inaccurate looking emulator footage in so many instances, using obsolete emulators/plugins with missing effects, especially for Mario Kart 64, which also is not that high resolution on a real N64.

2:18:05 🪙 (coin unlockables) remember that this game is first and foremost a kids game 😸 The ranking system is good for grown ups and experts, while in this case you unlock just by playing the game. Everyone in every age can unlock. I guess that’s why they also stripped down the game on 3DS, because MK Wii is too challenging for kids. That says a father of 3.
