@@s4r3vok Well, I think the best thing about being a kid is being innocent and everything being new. The colors of this stage used to make me feel shit, now they are just colors. But there is no point in thinking that the past was better, we just have to try to enjoy the present as best as we can.
MK 64 had the best roads... the coolest backgrounds and in stead of the mere 3 Peels... 5 peels behind your cart and the Blue Shell was an Epic appearance
I love this the most because of how simple and classic it is. Best one in my opinion. Brings back memories of the best years of my life. I'll never forget this game
@@DaffyEverything Uh, no it isnt, he could also just like the track. It's a nice track. Don't say it's dumb that he likes it for nostalgia, cause he probably also just likes it.
Daffy Everything be honest other than two drivers in one kart what do you really like about mk dd besides that lol it’s like every mk game up till the hd era.
***** the AI in MK 64 was pretty messed up. If they are in the player's sight, they would behave more or less normally. But out of the player's sight, it felt like they "cheated".
If you really look a this track its is like the game is thanking you for playing all good games have some kind of recap of characters or stages just take a look at what is around you.
jacenperson literally what i’m saying people complain that it’s too long or “boring” but it’s legit a tribute level to the game and for finishing it lol
That's the point. Rainbow Roads are created to stress you and challenge you. I never played this game but this Rainbow Road is too easy, long and boring.
There are comments under this Video that were talking about the "new Mario Kart Wii" and that they like this track much more, because of nostalgia. Even 13 years ago Mario Kart N64 was nostalgic xD
@@erickiam25 Okay you posted this 3 years ago and I'm assuming you have better insults now but..."ADHD kids"? Ahhh yes, say people have ADHD for expressing actual criticism lmao.
This is the best Looking Raibow Road, with the best music out of the 5 Rainbow Roads. I have not heard Mario Kart Wii's Version yet. Nor seen the stage for that matter.
While I admit that this track is a bit too long, I always loved the aesthetics in 64’s Rainbow Road. I’ll especially never get tired with the music that plays for this track.
easily the most beautiful and largest level in the game, with a splendorous music, this is a masterpiece made into a speedway, transmit the magic of all funny moments of the game itself.
I just realized that this circuit is just... So butiful and relaxing! Like "thanks for playing" never play this game sorry but I know now that it's awesome, and I will listen to the song so much ;) Also wow vidéo posted 10 years ago o_O
Fun fact: my mom taught me you can jump off the bridge and land on another part of the track in the beginning and have a serious head start 😌but you have to time it other wise you don’t make it
Haha not gonna lie didn’t like this track because I didn’t have the patience for 2 minutes a lap but there’s some great memories on this one and great music (I know this track was made to close things out)
PS1 a better SNES nothing more. The Proceed to make new games is in the most case the same as games from SNES. The N64 IS the best Ego-Shooter Console with the best Controller for that. Other thing, the N64 Gamecollection is nearly full with absolut bestsellers. PSX = 600+ games, 69 Bestsellers. N64 = 80+ games, 56 Bestsellers. Best Game ever? My Opinion Space Station Silicon Valley. I wish a second part of it. q.q
I think in Kalamari Desert it's really easy to pull far ahead of them compared to the other tracks. I dunno, I just did it a few minutes ago, so maybe I just got lucky as well.
Young people crying about this track , don't appreciate all the hard work that went into making it , at the Time 96 this was a breakthrough for graphics . In Mario kart. You can just sit back and enjoy the colors and music
erickiam25 How dumb are you? No matter the age you are young or old. Anyone can tell this game was awfil visually. Even for it's time. And as an MK game in general. The controls are horrible. You can't go back to this game after playing the new ones. MK is a series where the game get progressively better. Though you may like some older ones than the new ones. Saying MK64 is good is a retarded statement. It's the only one which aged like shit. And it should stop being overrated like it was. Back to graphics. There where way more demanding games in 96 that look better than this shit. Take of your nostalgia goggles or fuck off.
I really, really don't see why people love this track. Yeah sure, the music is awesome, but the track itself is just tedious. It's way too long for three laps, there's guardrails around the whole track, and there's no real challenge aside from the Chain Chomps. A Rainbow Road is supposed to be super difficult. It's supposed to be the ultimate challenge in a Mario Kart game, with sharp turns without guardrails. But not with this Rainbow Road. Instead we just get 6 minutes of boredom with guardrails everywhere.
They wanted you to just sit back and enjoy the scenery and listen to the music at the time this was a breakthrough in Mario kart . But you adhd kids don't get it you want everything short and fast I used to love this track so I could see the bright colors and charecters in the sky
erickiam25 You're just going around being the embodiment of people complaining about change. Calm down a little. It's nice, but if they really wanted this to be a beautiful experience they could've made it a 1 lap or something.
When I was 8-9, that was about 10 years ago, my parents rented a cottage for the winter and the owners left a Nintendo 64 on a small tv next to my room. This meant waking up at 7 to go play mario kart !! I had a 64 at home so I knew how to play but we never owned the Mario kart game! I was already loving the old aesthetic of the game. In other words, do not give away your old consoles right away! If it wasn’t for my older brother and those owners, I would have never experienced this gameplay, even though I was already very much used to the graphics of Mario kart wii
Maybe it’s not so hard and your time is not wasted so the whole lap of N64 Rainbow Road has 3 sections instead of 3 laps just like 3DS Wuhu Loop, 3DS Maka Wuhu, 3DS Rainbow Road, Wii U/Switch Mount Wario & Wii U/Switch Big Blue.
The AI cheat.....thats why i hate that game.....THX GOD is not like that in the game cube version in you kick a AI off the stage in the rainbow place there going to be 8 or 7 or maybe 6......in that game there going to be 2 or 3 if you are lucky.
MrMightymario Yes, but that's not the new Rainbow Road. That's the remake of THIS Rainbow Road! I guess they really couldn't remake it by simply just updating the track with prettier graphics, because the track really is quite empty by today's standards. They've made it a lot flashier, and the old neon lights with the characters are now fireworks. One can only imagine for the Rainbow Road in 1080p though, as Mario Kart 8, based on all the trailers and all the native screenshots they've been sending out, runs in 720p natively. A game that pretty, I didn't think they'd be able to handle it in 1080p.
Yep, Digital Foundry, a respected tech analyst (the same guys that confirmed Wii U"s REAL hardware capabilities) confirmed it. The game is native 720p, and while it actually runs at 60fps, it "dips" to 59fps. I'm glad it's finally confirmed so we can put the stupid "1080p/60fps" to rest.
bastante bien solo has cometido un error los objetos falsos no los pongas solos ponlos con los verdaderos siempre porque asi se lo comeran mas facilmente si lo pones solos van a saver q es falso q es la bomba
I miss cartidrige consoles those were the best. Put the game in turn it on and play instead of games today where is all digital downloads and cds and just takes forever to download just to play. Why can't we go back those days of gaming where it was simple and easy just to play.
