Mario’s world actually is shown fully in Odyssey and there are fans tryingto map out areas that have appeared in different games over the years onto that map.

Hey this intelligent bird thing is not without merit, both in Mario 64 and in the Mario television show there are birds specifically shown to be intelligent. More specifically the penguins are shown to be intelligent and the cross between a lizard and a bat that they call bird who is a bird of prey who has fallen in love with one of the two brothers.

Hey Theorizer I know I’m late but if you’re going into the Mario lore beyond the Mario Kart series then you’ll find that the birds are actually fairly important. For example, as pointed out in another comment, the Mario Bros. and many other characters from the Yoshi Island series were delivered by storks (aside from Yoshi) and the children who were delivered were considered to be Star Children (Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, Donkey Kong, Wario, and Yoshi are the 7 star children). Idk what it means but I’ve found more connection in Mario and Luigi Dream Team when they introduce the Zeekeeper which is a giant BIRD that is the guardian of Pi’llo Island. The Zeekeeper protects everyone’s dreams and guess who else is associated with dreams, the seven star spirits in Mario Party 5 which are basically the leaders of all the stars likely including the seven star children. So I’m betting there’s a connection between the birds, dreams, and the stars in the universe. So what I’m saying is the Yoshi’s Island games, Mario and Luigi Dream Team, and Mario Party 5 would be tremendous help to you figuring out this theory. I REALLY hope you see this.

I had to bring something to your attention. I was watching The Incredibles 1 & 2. It concerns Edna, the designer for the supers clothing. I think she is Immortal with super intelligence! Here are the clues. In the first movie she said she used to design for God’s, while pointing at a golden statue with a spear. Why would they need spears in modern day, unless the statue was made to represent someone she from her distant past. From a time when spears were the most advanced technology. But she would still make the clothing for those individuals. Then in the second movie when Mr.Incredible brings over Jack Jack. Edna Becomes fascinated with Jack Jack when trying to catch him. Then when Edna is helping Jack Jack and Mr.Incredible leave she claims the wants to be the designer for them throughout the known universe and till the end of time. I think there is a lot more to this.

This was very much worth it because sometimes you seem like you need a break and with all your theories they are amazing no matter what you put out

I have discovered 2 things that are huge (for dream works lore): first is that the dream works man is the man on the moon for the Rise Of The Guardians. And The second thing I discovered is Cloud guy, yeah just cloud guy because he somehow beaks the 4th wall and can seemingly see the future.

I think they could be some sort of cameras in disguise. After all, if these tracks were really built for “racing” like you suggested and if we assume that they are used frequently, they wouldn’t these birds take notice of the high speed go carts and fly somewhere else? Somewhere more safe? It also pays to look at the placement of the best as well, as almost birds tend to build there nest in safer and secured locations, not on top of stuff like giant pillars. After all, if the nest are more noticeable then other birds of prey might start stealing the eggs that they hold. However, if these birds were really all cameras or robots of some sort, one could entertain the idea that the nest are some sort of charging station for the birds. One of which that gives the bird cameras power when they land on it. But all this begs the question, who would want to use secret bird cameras in order to watch mere go kart races? Is it Egad? Waluigi? Or is it more meta than that? Could it be Nintendo themselves, watching the races so they can get enough data to make Mario Kart 9?

This would've most likely been chalked up as a "OMG THERE ARE BIRDS IN A VIDEO GAME" but we GOTTA remember that this IS the Mushroom Kingdom after all, a world where mushrooms can walk (i.e. your generic Goomba) and where fire is ALIVE, and let's not forget about the talking penguins, which are a type of bird. The Theorizer, for all we know, may be right. I have no idea what to think of that bird boat though. Maybe it's MOCKING them for what they're doing? Do the officials behind the tracks KNOW? SIDE-NOTE: I swear, that thumbnail is TOP-NOTCH. I love the way that glaring bird is connecting with the darkened picture of a Mario Kart track.

Or… it’s just because the Wii U being the first HD Nintendo console, they can handle far more entities on screen at once, helping the world feel a bit less empty. They do stuff like this in literally every game. it’s like making a conspiracy about why there’s so much water in a game, it doesn’t have a deeper meaning, there’s just a lot of water in the world. The majority of the planets surface, in fact.

When it comes to Mario and Birds I end up thinking about how many wings are present in some games. Always wondered why Para Koopas seem to have such bird like wings. Like what is the biology behind that? Also Super Mario World used to have 2 unused Sprites if I remember it correctly. A red coin and a golden mushroom both flying with wings. Weird that in that game a pair of wings can be found in blocks giving yoshi the ability to fly as well.

Isnt this more of a thing in regards to mario in general? Birds in the various mario franchises have always been massive. Literally... i mean, remember klepto?

Almost a year late, but if you want a fantastic kart racer try Crash Bandicoot. The new one came out with all new tracks and remakes of old tracks. The characterization is gorgeous and endless, and the tracks themselves are beautiful with so much intricate details It is, imo, miles better than anything Mario Kart has ever done

In the Disney show Dinosaurs, there's an episode where 2 of the characters: Earl and Roy, head backstage to see Georgie before an event. Roy asks for Georgie's autograph, Georgie accepts and asks whose name to sign, but when Georgie clicks the pen Roy gave him, gas emits from the pen and Georgie is knocked out. Roy says, "How about Bob Young? Wait..." Bob Young is one of the key crew members for the show itself. To my knowledge, no other character has mentioned this Bob Young anywhere else on the show. Do you know what this means? ROY IS THE ONLY ONE WHO KNOWS HE'S IN A TV SHOW. But that's just Dinosaurs. This is just the beginning.
