Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass Wave 5 Release Date - Nintendo Switch 

I remember wanting Koopa Cape in Mario Kart 8 ever since it released when I was younger. It’s so cool to see it finally coming, it’s one of my all time favorite Mario Kart Tracks!!

The nostalgia from Mario kart wii is unreal. Koopa cape is a course I remember very fondly.

I’m honestly surprised that Moonview Highway made it, regardless, I’m even more hyped, I swear, every day will feel like an eternity until this next wave releases

Fun fact on the Vancouver level, whenever you pass someone or hit them with an item, your character will say “sorry”.

Daisy Cruiser and Koopa Cape were the summer courses I wanted! 🎉 🥳

Daisy Cruiser is all I needed. I can't wait for the wave of Double Dash nostalgia to hit me when racing on that course. Takes me back to better days 🧡

Honestly, I would love to see a second booster course pass with even more courses. It brings me so much joy to get a few new courses every now and then.

Waking up to a new trailer for the booster course pass has got to be one of the best feelings ever.

These are all excellent. Just hope we get a Wuhu Island track for the final wave.

When the booster course pass was first announced I was hoping Daisy Cruiser would come to it, and now it is and I am so excited for it.

Getting two new returning wii tracks is amazing. Not only that, they're two of the best tracks from the game in my opinion. Moonview Highway is much more enjoyable than Toad's Turnpike, and I'm glad to see it back in action.

You have no idea how happy I am that Moonview Highway is finally in the game. I’ve been wanting that track to be brought back for so long now.

Love this DLC, it would be cool toward the end if they surprise us with 4 new battle maps as well.

I’m hype for Sunset Wilds. I hope they have the setting change throughout the duration of the race.

I can't believe that Moonview Highway came back! I thought for sure that it wouldn't be added this late into development, but the fact that it came WITH Koopa Cape means that there are so many more possibilities for Wave 6! This might just be my favorite wave yet, super excited!

This looks like the best bunch of courses yet and the fact that wiggler is here makes me smile so much.

The new tracks look great!

As much as I’m very happy we’re getting Koopa Cape, Daisy Cruiser, and Moon view highway, I was so ready for a Bowser’s Castle course.

Everything that's new with each remake: Athens Dash: . Athens Dash 3 has been added as a route to the course . Athens Dash 3 also appears to have it's own starting line, similar to Kalimari Desert & Singapore Speedway. This path will likely be taken after exiting the small cave . The cannon after Hadrian's Arch has been replaced by a regular glide ramp Daisy Cruiser: . The dining area now has Yoshis & Toads sitting on the seats, the tables however still move . Innertube Goombas have been added to the pool, the preview video shows that these goombas can be taken out, unlike in Singapore Speedway Moonview Highway: . A ramp has been added to the left raised section at the beginning of the course Los Angeles Laps: . The course now takes place at daytime . This is the only city course as of now to be section based, as a starting line has been to the bridge on the route to the Los Angeles Convention Center & another has been added to the entrance of the Inglewood Oil Field . The route on Rodeo Drive has seemingly been removed & now directs you to the area of Los Angeles Laps 2's starting line . The Venice Beach Skatepark area now includes a half-pipe . Glider rings have been added to the shortcut in the Inglewood Oil Field area Sunset Wilds: . The boost ramps at the towards the middle of the course have been made trickable Koopa Cape: . The music played when on the river has returned after being absent from 7 & Tour . The underwater section has been converted into an anti-gravity section, complete with spin boosters Vancouver Velocity: . The Capilano Suspension Bridge has been converted into an anti-gravity section, complete with spin boosters . An unused exit from the Rogers arena has been added to the course . Similarly to Amsterdam Drift, the route on Stanley Park has been taken in reverse . After leaving Stanley Park, the cannon has been replaced by a regular glide ramp . A new path has opened up, the trees on the roundabout have been removed & have been replaced with a grassy platform, which itself is trickable

I am so excited for moonview hwy and koopa cape! I love how they preserved the wii’s style in both tracks

As a MKWII fan I'm super glad that Moonview Highway is finally getting some love in the booster pass! It's one of my favorite tracks that's been sadly overshadowed and forgotten. I'm hyped for it 😌

As a vancouver resident i am very excited for vancouver velocity. the tour track is sick, i hope they keep the capilano suspension bridge section for 8dx!

These new tracks are great picks! I personally just REALLY hope we get Toad's Factory bc that's honestly one of my all time favorites... Here's hoping it comes in clutch for the final wave! 🤞

I hope Sunset Wilds still has the day to night progression after each lap from the GBA original. I always really liked that about that track.

I was not at all expecting moonview highway but im so glad its back as well as Koopa Cape, arguably my favourite track ever

I hope they do this whole thing again honestly and just keep updating this one MK game, and then when the new system comes out they just release Mario Kart 8 Super Deluxe or something with all 144 courses

nintendo is not failing to impress now, every wave just keeps evolving also the music for this wave is probably the best right now

Koopa Cape and Moonview Highway! Some of my favourite tracks ever! When the booster course pass was revealed that it would come out slowly, I wasn’t the most patient of people, but these waits have all been worth it, can’t wait to play these, and see the final wave aswell.

I am so glad that moonview highway is being added to this wave! I grew up with Mario Kart Wii and this was one of my favorite tracks in the game. Despite it being one of the hardest for others.

Wow this looks incredible, first time I've wanted to buy that booster pass - purely for Koopa Cape. That map was my favorite when I played Mario Kart Wii as a kid with my brother. Good times.

So glad moonview highway made it into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Moonview highway was one of my favorite courses in Mario Kart Wii. Also really glad that Los Angeles and Vancouver velocity made it too.

I love returning courses and characters, the only things we're missing though are more kart parts, more wheels, and more gliders (3.5/5)

I totally called it that they were going to put Vancouver Velocity in this wave instead of Wave 6, so I feel good that I got that predication right. In fact the only track that I did not predict correctly in this wave was Moonview Highway but honestly I am glad I was wrong because it was a wonderful surprise to see. Overall, these courses look amazing and I cannot wait to play them when they release next week!!!

I hope the secret in Daisy Cruiser is still there. After the dining room, there’s a hatch you can fall into that leads to the cargo hold. You then get fired out of the white smokestack thing. It’s considered a shortcut.

Okay let's go! L.A Laps, Vancouver, and Moonview Highway are my favorites overall I was expecting Mushroom City but this works too indefently can't wait to play it tomorrow!

I think what’s really cool about Los Angeles Laps is that the track doesn’t return to the same finish line every lap and is instead one giant long course like Mount Wario or N64 Rainbow Road.

Every wave gets better, and this wave is unbelievable! Two wii tracks in one wave, and they're both really good ones? Mario Kart Tour fans (like myself) are also hitting the big time with this wave. Vancouver Velocity and Los Angeles Laps in one? Also, I can't forget about DAISY CRUISER!!

Although I am very happy with the courses they’re bringing back, I love that they’re making brand new courses!

I thought Wave 4 couldn't be beat. All 8 of these tracks are incredible.

What i love most about this wave is that the design in the tracks are more of a base MK8 visuals instead of the Tour visuals we saw in the last 4 waves, i hope they also do this for wave 6

Well since it's already close to release here are my patch hope for this wave *SP Items from Tour migrating over to Deluxe *The B button works as it did on Wii U for spectator mode *fixing the red shell clip glitch *Fixing the Algorithm to push away smurfer to more balance rooms *Making Green Shells infini-bounce like the 64 era *Wheelies & Firehopping Makes a Comeback *Have MKTV Work With RU-vid again (or facebook and twitter) That's about it can't think of anything new so but my one hope is that lighting doesn't get weaker again it's not as helpful as you'd might think.😰

Whoa moonview highway is actually coming back!

As soon as I heard the Koopa Cape music I knew it sounded familiar and nostalgic, but couldn't remember at first from which course it was. Then as soon as they showed Koopa Cape I realized why it was so familiar to me since it was one of my favorite courses on Mario Kart Wii!

Unbelievably stoked to get Vancouver earlier, I've waited nearly a whole year for this 😭 LA Laps and Athens are great too, especially the latter as it's the coolest and most unique Tour city of them all. Moonview Highway was a pleasant surprise. Does this mean a GCN track got axed for it, though? Also, I guess we're not getting SNES Bowser Castle 3 and Piranha Plant Cove just yet. Had a gut feeling they'd be saved for wave 6.

I love it, but please update coconut mall store’s windows, instead of just black crystals put at least lighter ones or a white image as a background. Almost all the stores look like they’re close and please place some more toads throughout the course because it looks empty!!

Mark my words, wave 6 will include blue shell from New Super Mario Bros. and the Super Mario Bros. Movie as a new character.

Daisy cruise coming is amazing! It’s honestly one of the better tracks from double dash and I’m excited to see the visual improvements Nintendo has done to it.

I absolutely loved playing Daisy Cruiser, Koopa Cape, Moonview Highway so I’m super happy that those are coming back and my background is Greek so seeing Athens as a course looks absolutely awesome, so I’m super stoked for these to drop next week

We really can’t get Wario Colosseum or GCN Rainbow Road? Those are the last two tracks that haven’t been remade for GCN

Was hoping for Wario's Colosseum. Man I hope we get that for the next wave. IMO one of the best Gamecube tracks.
