Two tracks from my childhood where me and my mom raced against each other and she always beat me... good times... good times...

Yes yes and yes Singapore Speedway is getting added in Wave 4 along with Bangkok Rush and Amsterdam Drift from Mario Kart Tour. I can't wait to play as Birdo now that Nintendo has confirmed that more characters will be returning in future waves and it releases next week which is great to see. Only two more waves left I do hope we get Paratroopa as our next returning character in Wave 5.

They need to fix Wii Wario's Gold Mine. I'm thinking only the one by the finish line because of the track height thing at the one before the cave transition is finnicky.

@@psidrako3 it doesn’t need to be fixed, and that won’t happen. Time trials exist, and they can’t just change the model, like adding antigravity or adding halfpipes.

@@Roxlecmc didnt they change the cars on coconut mall tho, surely that could invalidate time trial ghosts (obviously theres like a 6 year time period difference tho)

@@bup8671 that’s a SLIGHT model change that won’t really effect gameplay. Plus they didn’t change it in time trials. Completely changing the gameplay by adding halfpipes or antigravity won’t happen. If they didn’t change it in time trials, it would make a huge inconsistency that no one will like. Slightly changing an asset in the course to changing the course models isn’t equal.

@@Roxlecmc I get you're argument and it probably is a bad precedent to set but realistically no one would notice or care. The halfpipes on wario's gold mine are suboptimal so no one who cares about their times would have them invalidated anyways, and casual players wouldn't notice and don't play time trials anyways.

Extra effort? they're a multi-millionaire company whose access to games is expensive/hard plus they have a lot of games due by now 2023. I'm happy too but this is what we should expect of them, to keep updating their games.

I don't think it's going to happen as of now but man at that point I would love to see somebody set up an entire Grand Prix of every single course with the DLC. In fact, I believe Airship Fortress should've been added already back in Wave 1 instead of Shroom Ridge. The Tour version of Airship Fortress actually looks like a hypothetical Mario Kart 8 remake, so even if it wasn't revamped it still would kind of fit (á la Choco Mountain), whereas Shroom Ridge doesn't look any different from the Tour version (it doesn't even look inferior, unlike most Wave 1 courses, mind you), it didn't deserve to make it to MK8 Deluxe that way (besides, its musical arrangement there messed up the whistles badly)

There's a pattern to follow, at least EVERY wave has to have two minimum Tour tracks, at least one GBA track, one Wii track and a new track (non city Tour tracks are considered Nitro in 8 Deluxe)

It's just a pity that they took the tents off the track for Mario Kart Tour. That was the feature of the track, that the Shy Guys hang on the back of the driver.

The Tour tracks from this point on are more recent than the 2022 BCP picks, so the quality is going to be better in 2023.

Only one i dont like is mario circuit and the fact they added 3 tour tracks but other than that it's not a bad lineup
