They probably won't as made by Namco. Mk8 is better in most ways anyhows. This works great in the arcades but won't be as effective on home systems i don't think.
This game was way ahead of its time. I remember playing this so many times at the Arcade in my local bowling alley complex. The mechanics and the graphics were so fresh compared to the core series Mario Kart games out at the time.
This is what Mario kart 8 should have been. And this is what Mario kart 9 should inspire to be. Hands down the most unique Mario kart from esthetics to how the color pops to the noises- everything is beautiful and amped up in this version. We need the next Mario kart to be bold like this
With all due respect. This is maginally better looking than Mk7. Mk8 is on another level for graphics and sound. They even used proper music for 8. As for MK9 well, that will be on another level completely from anything.
Yep they even use Peach, Toad and Bowser's former voice actors. I think this is because the first mario kart arcade game was after the Double Dash!! and the sounds are now part this series which I find pretty cool that they'll stuck with the nostalgia. Or they just reused some of the old sounds to save time.
@@PlayersPurity if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. double dash’s sound effects (for me) are super iconic, only rivaled by mk64, so this is more than fine by me
@@yamiscapex Satoshi (Pokemon), Bakura (Yu Gi Oh), Young Kojiro Hyuga (Captain Tsubasa Road to 2002). She even sang Alive a Life for Kamen Rider Ryuki, and recently, sang Go! Now! for Rider Time : Kamen Rider Ryuki.
ByoNemesis it surprises me that she is the announcer of this game. And holy shit, Rica is so versatile in her singing talent and also from voice acting as a seiyuu.
This gives me the feeling of one piece musous (pirate warriors series). I don’t know how much time have passed since I played and watched Mario kart but I never knew there was an arcade version by Bandai namco. A lot of mario kart fans don’t know about this game and it sucks cuz it’s epic.
Really bugs me how the US version is so much weaker by comparison (no CC select, no kart select, no ability to choose to continue to the next track even by paying, and probably even more I can't remember.) Sure some of that can be justified by not having the banapassport data card, but you really should be able to both continue to the next track without selecting everything again and select CC.
@@dreamcastdazia4753 Perhaps if someone raised up enough money to purchase one of the American cabinets (At least 20,000 dollars so that they have some left over) they could try and rip the American announcements, and combine them with the English patch to make a more definitive version. I'd also be happy to try and mimic Jack Merluzzi's voice for the stuff that's missing from the Attract Mode, National Match, etc.
I only ever got to experience this game once and it was fucking fire , I recall playing as the sushi roll character that I didn’t recognize, at this arcade in Toronto
I never thought I would get to try it but there are two arcades that I know have it which are not that far away from me, which is weird since I'm in England
bruh i didn’t see this game as too much fun when i played it but now that i see the jp version i realized how much the us missed out on with this cool game
I have this game, doesn't matter how pro you get, that one kart will always be glued to your bumper waiting for you to take a slightly wrong line on the track.
Yo wait, I’ve played this game in arcades, and you don’t get to choose your kart, items, or engine class. The first 2 are roulette based, and the last is the operator’s pick. But I’ve also never seen this gamemode before. I thought this game only had single races. And what’s a BanaPassPort? Do the coins have the same function as normal Mario Kart? What does the red M button do? Does your console even has one? Does this game actually have online modes via national match? If so, why? Wouldn’t the multiplayer just be through the connected consoles?
This is the Japanese version, but with a patch added to render all text in English. Perhaps if someone raised up enough money to purchase one of the American cabinets (At least 20,000 dollars so that they have some left over) they could try and rip the American announcements, and combine them with the English patch to make a more definitive version. I want Mario Kart Arcade GP DX for The Switch, & PC Alongside With The Arcade Cabinets So I Will Takedown That Japanese Racers To make Them All Furiously at Jack Merluzzi.
Mk8 is seen by nintendo as the current definitive Kart experience. This would only work as DLC for mk8 Deluxe/ MK9 not as an actual game. Too little content or options are available for this game as it stands.
It's not there. We haven't gotten the update yet. Perhaps if someone had the stones to get an actual Japanese cabinet (a *lot* of buxx) they could try and update it. There's also one more cup that only one person has gotten on camera, the DK Cup. However, it wasn't screen recorded, it was just done with a normal camera. Do you know what would be even better? Tf someone raised up enough money to purchase one of the American cabinets (At least 20,000 dollars so that they have some left over). this probably wont receive an answer, but how did you play and record this? Did you download it on a computer or did you actually buy an $11,000.00 arcade cabinet?
