It's probably easier just to tell people that you don't want to be their friend anymore instead of putting them through Blue Shell Hell but I'm all for it

You know, “blue yourself” is an actual Mario Kart speedrun category where the goal is to carry a blue shell all the way to first and hit yourself with it.

The combination of only Blue Shells + Bullet Bills is actually a fun way to play. They give counterplay against each other where the person in first is hoping for Bills to maintain their lead, while everyone else targets them with Blue Shells.

This powerup is hilariously known as the suicidal shell for everytime you hit an item box in the 1st place, rendering it useless unless you delibrately want to fail, even with a single mistake.

I happened to jump on with friends the day this came out. As soon as we realized just what it was, we set it to only Bullet Bills and Blue Shells on team mode. Now it’s the only way to play

Tried this as soon as I saw "Custom Items" was not disappointed. I also found out that using lucky 8's will give you only the activated items from its pool (e.g. 8 red shells, or half star half mushroom etc). lotta fun to be had.

this the video where the sponsor needed royalty free music isnt it? honestly great job this is a perfect "big sponsor wants an ad so quick and easy lotsa views" type of video. Mario kart with all blue shells is a wonderfully crafted title that draws in fans and casuals, its relatively middle in length so it wont scare anyone off, and its an edited down stream so theres a bunch of content to take from it and doesn't require heavy work from the wonderful editor. Amazing job, Alpha "jacob" rad.
