Waluigi being "too creepy" actually means they thought putting a tax evader into the game it would make them look bad

my theory as to why Kamek got cut in 64 is that since all the models had to get replaced after they accidentally got deleted (yes this did happen), they didn't have enough time to make a new Kamek model and decided to just replace Kamek with DK by using Rare's DK model (who are credited for giving the team the model in the credits)

I'm just sad that Waluigi was scrapped from Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit.

Nintendo actually admitted the creepy Waluigi thing was not true, It was actually due to time restraints.

So there was actually no evidence Nintendo ever said Waluigi was too creepy for Mario Kart 7 at all. My guess is that he probably was cut due to time constraints or because they thought it was a better idea to have more new characters in the game even though they sucked.

There was actually another character that got scrapped was Mii Outfit C it was an unused Mii Outfit that was supposed to be with Mii Outfit A and B, in the games files there was an unused Mii Outfit C model that is a toad outfit but it’s very glitchy.

And the Goomba has never even been considered to be in a Mario Kart game ☹

The Mach Rider character was most likely the generic guy that Nintendo stated was in the beta before Mario was considered

Technically, King Boo counts as a Luigi’s Mansion character since the first game he was in was Luigi’s Mansion

Petey Piranha is a kart in Mario Kart Wii, that’s why he got the boot…or the wand. I love to think that Bowser looked at Petey and was like “Petey, you wanted your own car! Here ya go!” Bowser uses Kemek’s wand, misses, and turned him into a car. Bowser was like “Screw it, I’ll fix it later” and took Petey as a car instead.

Donkey kong his actually part of Mario game, because he is in the classic game Donkey kong with mario being the good guy. Bowser's fury his a Mario game despite being name after the bad guy.
