You should do a "Gun Game" of sorts with NMeade or Mayro or any guest! Where you both start with 100% chance of pulling a really powerful item (eg shock or bullet bill), and whoever wins race between the two moves onto the next item down (maybe star), then down again (mega/golden) until they get all the way down to Fake Item Box, and whoever wins first (between the two players) with the worst items wins the game! I think that'd be really fun to watch, but it could be messy in terms of modding the game like that (Yes im going to suggest this on every video until it either happens or we're told that it's not happening ♡)
When this item rain series started, I didn’t think I would even make it to the invitational, considering I can’t use the Mach bike on item rain to save my life (despite being a Mach main). I still can’t believe the outcome of all of this, the events and this invitational were both a lot of fun and the most stress I’ve ever felt playing this game, and I can safely say I did not expect the results that came out of all of this! What a wild journey this was, can’t wait for the 200cc tournament series!
You were going crazy with the sugarscoot and the classic dragster in the events, but I'm still surprised you won the whole thing with the sugarscoot, huge congrats muchcreepz, very well deserved.
1:27:12 The origins of Sports Mix: In Mario Sports Mix (hence the mii name), when you play basketball on the first stage in the game, there is a mii in the stands that looks exactly like the mii I used in this video. Me and my friends saw that mii in the background, and for our first time seeing it, we were actually pretty unnerved looking at it, and eventually we recreated that mii and started using it in many different Mario kart rooms, I just thought it’d be funny to use it for the item rain series!
Glad I was able to make this one especially with the insanely stacked leaderboard, I achieved my goal of 1 point but also happy to make it to the 2nd Invitational Excited for the next one!

It's so cool watching MuchCreepz grow as a player over the last few months. It went from me rooting for him every event, to being excited every now and then when he won, to him literally winning an entire invitational with nothing but outside drift and inhuman levels of skill. Loved the video, as always, and can't wait to see what's next!

I think the coolest part of the item rain is the genuine viability of overlooked items like the blooper and POW. Blocking vision / locking someone’s path can be incredibly potent. If you notice in the tail end of the tourney when Troy is on his blooper streak, he shortly gets a power item almost every time following the blooper. Maybe it’s a coincidence but I genuinely think it had pretty noticeable impact lol
Hey Troy, you probably won't even read this, but I just wanted you to know that you and your videos literally saved my life when I was suffering the worst depression I've ever experienced. This was over a year ago and I've been a sub since the quarantine, and honestly I don't even know how I found this channel back then taking into account that I'm spanish and I haven't played mario kart wii in ages, but yeah, thank you so much for all these videos and keep up the great job
My situation isn't as serious as yours but watching Troy play this beloved childhood game of mine has taken me through some tough times with a smile in these couple years.

His vids are just so calm, chill, and creative. He and Nmeade find new ways to play this game even 14 years after its release. That’s talent.

Such a great end to the series!!!! For the next tournament, I think it would be interesting to see a rule added where if you have more than 4 points on the board, you have to actually beat Troy if you reach the finals with him in a round in order secure a point on the leaderboard

As where Empex, Troy, Much Creepz, Act, and Soony are the ones who are usually ranked highly when Troy hosts these multiplayer invitational games like 200cc, Item Rain, or 400cc; it's common to see teams like Georgia, Alabama, OSU, Clemson, Tennessee(this season), and Michigan ranked highly by College Football Playoff.

We had a tournament about a month ago where Luna won and Soony got 2nd (and Matutino was in it) but there were 3 DCs and a few ruleset problems so we decided to do another one once I got back from vacation. And as you saw, we had to abandon the bonus points system half way through due to a DC this time. I feel like more DC's happen on Item Rain in general!

You likely won’t see this as it’s 8 months late, but NuoKart and Grantham both only had one win, and 12 players had 2 or more. So that means two of the players with multiple wins couldn’t make it, so they just got the spot bc they were the earliest to get there I assume. I know one of the players that couldn’t make it was machahino or however you spell his name lmao.

Ever since 43:33 I was able to tell that all of the particle effects are music related. Star has a bunch of symbols. Pows have a music bar ripple Tricks and wheelies show a note. Very fun quality of lifes
Half this video is Troy saying "I hate this game mode" and then a bullet lands directly on him. The other half is him saying "This race is going so well" and then instantly gets bombed.

5:40 Getting a “BAM!!!! SHOCK DODGE!!!!” at the end of the race is definitely the ultimate way to finish a race in first place while using the worst bottom tier vehicle possible!
