I'm glad to see Abyssal Ruins on the list. I started beating the staff ghosts alphabetically and kind of underrated that one. I thought I was just doing bad at first but soon realized it's a way harder staff ghost than what I had anticipated. Also i'm suprised that Big Express City isn't on this list since I found that pretty difficult. Since ruso is using the sneakster with good acceleration, you have to get pretty good chains if you're going with the flame runner. Anyways, really good video Lucas! :)
@@loocas3738 He did. I was trying to one-up Daseia cause I was tired of his ghosts but I NEVER intended for my 2:31 to get in. It's stupid how long it took before a nerf got asked for.
Out of this list, i have 116 gold stars. Im taking a break now because getting all 250 would take way too long and it would be something that i can’t do. so 116 is enough for me. As the updates go by I’m just gonna try to hold 115. But out of all the tracks that were mentioned, I have Mushroom Peaks, GBA Bowser Castle 3, SNES Bowser Castle 2, (track was updated), N64 Bowser’s Castle, (Took over 20 hours to beat like how yours did) and Rosalina’s Snow world, one of my least favorite tracks in the pack. Those are the expert staff ghosts I have that you have mentioned in this video. Of course I’m gonna continue time trialing as the updates go by but for now I’m stopping. Overall Loocas, great video though explaining these. These are W opinions on the expert staff ghosts. They really show how hard they are in MKWII CTGP.
Great video! Also, just checked a bunch of these leaderboards, and saw that sahara hideout has only been beaten by 70 players, even though it's been out since october.
Really nice vid! Wasn’t expecting MMM to place that low but in hindsight you’re probably justified in putting it there. Also, is there any chance you could make a vid about the 20 EASIEST CTGP ghosts so people not as good at the game (like me) can feel the satisfaction of getting gold stars?
Thanks! I personally had an easy time with MMM which is why I ranked it quite low, I'm not sure how interesting it would be to make a video on the easiest staff ghosts but I'll definitely at least make a list of some sort

I’ve been working on defeating all the Nintendo expert ghosts with their respective vehicles and character combos. if you ever wanted to make beating the experts more difficult. Just do what I did. It will certainly make you a better driver.
This video tells me how long it took you to beat the ghosts in the road to 250 series. If you could do that in the future for your return to 250 gold stars that would be very informative.
Awesome video! Well made and informative. I'm new to CTGP and use the wii wheel so the majority of the staff ghosts are out of my reach. Do you think you could make a video ranking the CTGP ghosts on Nintendo tracks? I've beaten about half of them and am wondering where to head next.
You need to make a new list of these because some are actually much harder than the other ones. Pipe Underworld and Desert Fort are likely to be on the list. And of course we can’t forget Wuhu Island that one is in the top 10 for sure and thwomp swamp should be in this too as well
For some reason, 3DS tracks are never named 3DS _______. Two names for the two Wuhu Island tracks Neo Koopa City - Neo Bowser City Rosalina's Snow World - Rosalina's Ice World Bowser's Fiery Fortress - Bowser's Castle Rainbow Road: Solar Edition - Rainbow Road and more.
I know! I was thinking what the actual fuck and only because I used to hold BKT on Fishdom on Fishdom v1.0 and 2.0 (2011-ish) that I was able to beat it
you should remake this soon due to all the difficult ghosts added recently (PU, GBA Cheese, VV, and some potential other hard ones coming in the future)
@@loocas3738 yeah thats true. I was looking for something more generic like: These are easy, These are ok, These are very hard. I know a ranking would be impossible to make so I guess its just a matter of conferring with others to get an idea of where to start and where to avoid for now
Yeah, I have a big list of medium ghosts and a video of the hardest but nothing for easy, you would just have to look around and try the ghosts yourself
@@MrMomoman123456 some easier ones are Jungle Jamble, Concord Town, Dry Dry Ruins, Desert Hills, Toad's Factory and Peach Gardens. Especially Jungle Jamble (the expert ghost uses the bonbon/sugarscoot for those NTSC peeps)
ok Loocas i have something to say about this video. i think saying dbg is the hardest ghost in ctgp is a bit of a stretch. Don’t get me wrong it’s definitely very difficult but i dont think its the hardest. In my opinion rBC is way harder. Other than that great video.
Bowser’s Fiery Fortress and Rosalina’s Snow World are just Bowser’s Castle and Rosalina’s Ice World from Mario Kart 7 Unless those are the names in the Japanese game
Please could you do some of the easier ones? I’ve beaten the extremely easy ones (jungle Jamble and every spy kid expert ghost) but I don’t really know which one to go to from there. I’m trying to get some gold stars (I’ve got about 40) but I’m not good enough to beat a lot of the ghosts. Thanks!
anyway i think this kinda list is very subjective for each person, but still fun to watch zeldacubed who is definitly a much better driver than me told me rsw was the hardest ghost for him to beat while i could barely outline him on any track and i personaly still have lots of problems beating lost fortress ghost as i said very subjective, still fun to watch lol
Is Rosalina's Snow World viable with the MagiKruiser? There is a part with type 2 slippery road, and iirc magikruiser is faster than flame runner on type 2 slippery road.
No it is not as you use your shroom for the main ice section, the only other time where you are on ice are the few seconds lap 1 before you drop into the water and before you shroom which isnt enough for magi to take advantage of
