Man, looking back at this boss, some of these attacks are extremely well designed. Like the one where you mash with Mario while jumping to avoid shots with Luigi or the part where bowser is running over his own minions and you have to decide risk vs reward. This game is just so good. SUPER upset I lost my cartridge in the middle of my hard mode run. Maybe someday I’ll actually rematch dreamy bowser without easy mode because that will always bug me.
Starlow: Just drop the Tough-Guy act already. Without the Dream Stone, you're nothing. Bowser: Bitch please. Remember Dark Bowser? Starlow: ... Bowser: That's what I fucking thought.
They were attempting to lift him off the ground and drop him into the ocean where he would be distracted by Godzilla. Unfortunately, Bowsers girth was too much for them.
I love it because it shows Mario as a character. Sure he may be happy to lucky all the time. But the second you target his brother, he’s after you, and he’s not going easy on you
Hotdogskins234 She also straight up made him upset in bowsers inside story to the point where Mario has to step in and defend Luigi. I believe it's after you defeat those alien guys in bowsers castle
5:54 I love how the idea of this attack is to make the minions distract you and not notice Bowser about to attack in the background. It does this very effectively, even the viewer can easily forget that Bowser is there.
Dreamy Bowser: GWAHAHAHA! With one snap of my fingers, I can eradicate you mustachioed menaces from reality! Possibly half the life in the Mushroom Universe, too, but for NOW, let's just start right... **readies finger snap** Dreamy Bowser: HERE!! **snaps** **Mario's Guard Badge! It protected him from damage!** **Mario's Counter Wear! It countered the hit back at Dreamy Bowser!** Dreamy Bowser: ....Shit. Well, I don't feel so good. Go tell Junior he's in charge of the Koopa Troop. **does the boss explosion thing, then disintegrates**
@@SilverSonicMK.4 It's a concept i invented. The player curse is a curse that will be inflicted on a character in a certain world/dimension. That character will lose its free will and gets controlled by the player (you) to do anything the player wants. It regains its free will during cutscenes only. And when you complete the game taking place on that world, the character will regain its free will until you re-play the game for anything else. One of the few games in history to transmit the player curse without the need of a character select is Super Mario Odyssey, via the capture mechanic. The player curse will or it won't empower the character possesed by it, depending on the game you are playing. It can be used against other friendly/evil characters on a world, killing them or fending them off for a long time. All games that include human/humanoid characters will have presence of the player curse.
TheExtremeGamer thx, and this is for me wondering, if the player curse would effect the stats of a character, then does that mean that the characters were weaker then before they were controlled?
@@drizzziit1 paper bowser with pure hearts is the strongest one tho because he scales to Mario who defeat super dimenito who is the most powerful Mario villan
Mickeel Prather Bowser never used the pure hearts in that game though, unless you’re talking about a fan made alternate ending or something, even then the pure hearts stopped dimentio and could not be used again unless true love came forth
Can we just talk about the game for a second? Mario is a badass! It’s why I love this airship attack because it’s one of the only times Mario & Luigi actually partner up to evade an attack. He’s so good that in the game, Luigi almost looks up to his brother as a god & wishes to help him out any way he can. Best part about this is that it’s true! Mario literally *jumped aboard the ship & destroyed it* just to protect his little brother John-Wick style. Bowser is also really good in this game, he’s a very terrifying enemy to face because of what happened in his inside story. He survived because he was taught by *YOU,* the player, on how to read patterns & how to counter/evade them. He also has way too much experience in being betrayed to the point where he now know where & when to betray Antasma. Worst part is that *you created this.* One last thing, Bowser is also a great leader, he keeps relying on his minions, even when they keep failing on their part. He never summons super monsters or clones of himself out of battle, he just relies on his minions & trusting that they will win one day. That, my friends, is how you get people to risk their lives for you willingly & form an inseparable bond of loyalty.
Watcherman98 Mario: This is-a cheap! And now, I’m-a mad! And when I’m-a mad, I-a gotta hit things with-a my hammer! C’MERE!!! (Bonus points if you get the reference.)
I love how despite having really powerful new abilities Bowser still conjures up his troops to help him fight the bros. He respects his own army so much that even when hes a god he will rely on them to help fight.
I remember dying so much during this boss battle. When I beat it, I felt so triumphant. I never thought that I would feel like that after saving the princess for the billionth time. Watching this, I forgot how badass this game was.
Well i did first try (motsly because i had good reflexes, a very high level, and used the farmer boots to have a massive amount of beans), the hardest boss for me was pillo'odium
This boss fight was the most cruelest one, so far I’ve played this, paper jam, and superstar saga, and out of the three this one was the hardest for my younger self, mainly because in the games I never maxed out my levels in the games, so I had a hard time lol
Let's see what we're working with here: Smithy Star Rod Bowser Shadow Queen Super Dimentio Giant Megaflashy Bowser Blackout Bowser Cackletta's Soul Elder Shroob (Shrowser is lame and doesn't count) Dark Bowser/Dark Star Fawful Dreamy Bowser Bowser & Paper Bowser Yeah, you're right, Dreamy Bowser is the best.
ThatBrawlMarioMain Really? I thought they were in the same universe, considering it would make sense with the main games. There's really no issues it would bring up having both be in the same canon.
Bowser is partially invulnerable and immortal. You know, he took a supernova among other things and just... came back as if it was nothing. This should be the least of his concern.
The first time bowser is the final boss in a mario and luigi game Without being mind controlled,Having his body stolen or...Whatever the hell is happening on Mario and luigi partners in time
How to make this fight go way quickly: Have your badge meter full with gold and miracle badges. Use badge to pause time. Spam Zee Egg and Star Rocket on Bowser's head while time is paused so he can't block the attack with his arm. This will bring his health down QUITE a bit. Otherwise, focus on the arms with the same attacks.
I love how Bowser is the same as he was in Bowser’s inside story. Although I prefer his redesign in Paper Jam, but Bowser’s design in Dream Team makes the game feel more close to home in the series
It always annoyed the hell out of me when they restored your HP and BP to max before the battle, because I’d do that anyways so I wasted a bunch of mushrooms and syrup
Damn bowser. You suck bad, even when you have supposedly multiversal level of power. Intend of finishing them off and being creative and stop being a simp, he could of easily killed them. If this was ganondorf/ganon, the people would of already been dead by now.
He was one tough bastard. I had to resort to the time freeze ability you get from one of the badge combinations. I felt bad for using such tactics but I found it really difficult to withstand his attacks. Hardest final boss in the series along with Cackletta's Soul in Superstar Saga.
Mario defeated culex who was going to consume time and space and Mario defeated bosses in Mario galaxy who made a Galaxy reacter which was going to destroy the Mario omniverse, the Mario omni verse onis the Mario universe
This boss will either be destroyed in a couple of turns or be the bane of your existence for the next 40 minutes. I still prefer Shiny Robobowser over Dreamy Bowser because Dreamy Bowser is generally a much more unbalanced boss due to his relative low max health with his healing abilities. But the atmosphere, the attacks..... It is just perfect.
bowser didn't realized that the dream stone was powerful than he thought this dream stone can literally make any wishes come true he could literally wish the two brother to disappear or he could've wished to brainwash the brothers to be on his side because of how skillful they are mario and luigi were really lucky this time that bowser didn't realized that he has so much power
That's what I resorted to using in the end. He was slaughtering me repeatedly, I couldn't dodge his attacks very well. That time stop strategy left him completely helpless. He barely fought back.
I'm personally a fan of the Virus/Master Badge combo. Sometimes, a defense drop is all you need to finish an opponent off quickly. I've never tried the time stop badge combo before. I'll make sure to give it a go next time I head into the Battle Medley.
This boss battle is literally a battle, not just a little fight. I don’t remember who exactly, but I remember someone saying that this fight was like a full-on war. Bowser heals, the bros heal, and both sides use powerful attacks. It can take quite a long time, but pairing the Miracle and Gold badge allows you to stop time and makes it much easier.
Bowser fight in Superstar Saga: Possessed Bowser fight in Bowser's Inside Story: dark bean imposter Bowser fight in Paper Jam Brothers: fusion! Bowser fight in Dream Team Bros: *DEITY!* Bro's the Dark Emperor from Streetpass Quest II
So if bowser had the power of the dream stone, why didn’t he just make them disappear like he originally planned? He could literally just poof them away
