A lot of people say the film has no plot. I would argue that the brotherly bond between Mario and Luigi IS the plot of the film. It's about the lengths Mario would go to protect Luigi. Even being dragged into a war that's not his own to do it.

My favorite relationship in the video games and the movie is truly Mario and Luigi I just absolutely adore how much they truly care about each other! They are always there for each other through thick and thin! When toad told Mario that Luigi was going to die and when he was with peach while she touched a fire flower I could tell that Mario was really worried and upset about Luigi! My favorite part of the movie was when Mario literally protected Luigi from that mean bully that scene warms my heart every time! Mario and Luigi are truly the best brothers ever period 😊❤️🥰✌️

I always have the feelings that Mario is a sigma who cares about his brother than anyone else. Him saving Peach has always been nothing but a plot vehicle for the game. Bowser on the other hand..., has been simping for Peach since the 80's.

The brotherly love between Mario and Luigi the bros themselves was my favorite out of all of them like their flashback as babies and reunion were so heartwarming to me, I just wished they got more screentime together as bros even though Luigi send most of his not really doing anything while inside a cage. Edit: Another thing I'm personality a little disappointed that we didn't get Toadsworth in this movie, that's it.

In a way this sets up a potential Luigi's Mansion movie to be a perfect counterpart where Mario doesn't have much screen time since he's captured by King Boo. Luigi would be the lead protagonist in that scenario.

Bowser is an amazing villain x) I love that he's all shy and awkard when it's about Peach, and his song is perfection. He's a classic villain of the Nintendoverse with that sense of "I can be good if I get what I want" while someone like Ganondorf, in most of his apparition, doesn't care at all about anyone else. they would make a good contrast with one another :) And for Mario and Luigi relationship, it's what I loved most about that movie. Seeing how Mario always care about him in that first Brooklyn scene when he makes a road for his brother touch me deeply. I remember crying watching that because my little brother is the most important thing in my life. And the nickname ! Luigi has a nickname ! I can't handle so much sweetness

really love: mario/luigi(favorite moments as they are just as heartwarming as the games especially & their fight against bowser reminding me of ryu/ken against m. bison that also showed a closer relationship of a brotherly duo.:3) mario/peach(2nd favorite as while the beginning could've handled a few things better i loved it more than i thought showing peach's sweetness helping mario that i'd love to see more of in the sequel of them being a couple/expand the games with it.) mario/toad(wish the adventure was a bit longer to see them interact more but really love how loyal to his friends with neither objecting.) bowser/kamek(like how it's a bit less one sided ambiguous compared to robotnik and agent stone while kamek still gets comically handled for enabling bowser.) and mario/donkey kong(really made me think about how different their series are with how mario jumps to duty while dk usually is laid back unless someone messes with his friends/banana hoard and was awesome seeing dk use the power ups/try his best to defend mario from bowser and has a better relationship with cranky compared to how ornery he is in the country games,hope we see more of him with diddy/dixie.)

I find that the best relationship is between Mario and Peach, we see the evolution throughout the movie. Beginning of alchemy after the course, romantic scene in the fire flower field, flirting at rainbow road and then holdings hands at the wedding. Honestly, the managed the relationship really well, now we just have to hope that Nintendo doesn't ruin everything like they usually do in games.

I knows it very very well. Bowser didn’t care about him at all, and when he finds out that Luigi is actually Mario’s younger brother, he takes the green plumber hostage to lure Mario, and even threatens to kill him in front of the red plumber. (This opinion is basically one of those that everyone respects.)

My favorite dynamic was between Mario and Donkey Kong. Purely because they have the EXACT same dynamic that I had with my little brother when we used to play these games as kids. There was a moment where Mario kicked a shell that bounced back and hit him. Donkey Kong pointed and laughed before immediately being hit by the exact same shell. I can't tell you how many times that has happened between me and my brother while playing New Super Mario Bros Wii.

I'd say the Mario Bros.' relationship with their parents is as toxic as it is with their former boss. They have no respect for them until they become heroic, which makes them as good as gold diggers.

Possibly the relationship between Bowser and Kamek becomes closer in the sequel or Prequel since I imagine that at some point Kamek will have a memory of how he raised and took care of Bowser (since in the video games it is seen that he pampered and took care of him) Possibly if something happens to Bowser Kamek seriously like Junior and The Koopalings possibly get so angry that they decide to destroy those who hurt him, Also I imagine that Possibly In Some Of The Aftermath This Clawdia Koopa I mean His Ex Wife As They Think whatever his relationship with her is, it will be the same relationship he has with Kamek, Junior or Los Koopalings

@@dogti2959 I imagine there will be a scene in the sequel or prequel where Bowser fights Mario again and after throwing him in a place where he can see the past, he ends up seeing his past, so it could come like this: young Kamek looking for ingredients for his potions and he finds an egg and when it opens, kamek takes pity on Baby bowser and adopts him and it is seen that he has given him everything from toys to whatever he wanted and then you can see the two of them watching a landscape and there Baby Bowser tells him Baby Bowser : Kamek Why do we see this landscape Kamek : This landscape is the Home of my Ancestors and little by little we were losing them Baby Bowser: Do you know that Kamek will take over the world whenever I marry a princess? I promise to return your lands Kamek: Really thank you Baby Bowser: I promise you... Dad (To make it look very touching) and I think it would be emotional if Bowser and Kamek fight in the sequel or prequel and Mario would say to Bowser Mario: Bowser, what happened between you and him? Bowser: You know what.... What do you care? so continue with the fight

Of course Mario and Luigi we’re going to be the most healthy ( nothing can hurt them as long as there together ) Toad is a bit like Perrito claiming to be the main character best friend shorty after meeting them Peach could have just made Toad leave like everyone else but admired his bravery and trusted him the only Negative thing about Mario and Peach is that when they first met out of self defence she flipped him before finding out he human guess Bowser a bit like the Beast in term of being just that and Gaston for trying to force a marriage

Mario and Luigi's relationship in this movie made me SO HAPPY! I'm so glad they didn't go with the stereotypical, annoying sibling hatred. It's so cliche and overdone. They were so close and loving how Bros should be. They were best friends and I just loved it because I've been a Super Mario Bros fan since childhood. They're my favorite duo.
