Mario Odyssey's Online Multiplayer is Amazing 

Thanks for allowing me to play this with you all! It was a blast to make, and even more fun to play alongside CJ, Smallant, and Fir! For anyone that's wondering about when this mod will be released, I've yet to decide how I'm going to go about sharing this mod with everyone, as right now it's still very early on in development and there is a lot that needs to be done still to ensure the game runs as smooth as possible. I'll definitely try to keep everyone up to date on both my discord and youtube channels (If I can figure out a way to post a video on this mod). Thanks again Smallant, Cj, and Fir for playing!

Crafty is the one kid who can't run fast in Hide and Seek, but has the best hiding spots and everyone underestimates him.

Smallant: The all-powerful Odyssey god who only gets caught because of all the instances of cheating fate. Fir: The guy who seems like he'll get captured quickly but then leads the seekers on a highly improbable and exciting chase. Crafty: Probably the least skilled at movement, but, well, he's just so crafty that he is always the last guy found. CJ: Red shirt guy from Star Trek. Being captured is inevitable.

Crafty is literally the odd one out -Has good hiding spots -No face cam -No chat -Playing as “Luigi” -Is the reason why this mod exists

I just love how despite Crafty not being a speedrunner, he was able to evade three speedrunners hot on his trail for a respectable amount of time. Lmao.

I love that crafty somehow managed to make Mario odyssey multiplayer and we just out here playing hide and seek

If there's an Odyssey 2, I'd love to see something like this officially implemented

I am astounded at the capability of modders throughout gaming history. From skyrim to Mario odyssey... I cannot be more proud of the progress that has been made throughout history. Absolute legends out there that spend their own personal time for the pleasure of others. So many hard working hours to work out kinks in such progressive games. It's nothing short of impressive

It’s crazy that I completely forgot that multiplayer wasn’t a real thing in this game cuz none of y’all mentioned it but it’s actually insane that CraftyBoss made this all on his own

I love how Crafty won this by not being good at the game, but just by finding good spots and being patient enough.

At this point Crafty's name has to be included in the Mario Odyssey Credits. He just completely changed that game in the most insane ways!

I really like how SmallAnt, Cj, and Simplyfir split the kingdoms evenly between their videos! It encourages people to go to the other channels, while also giving connected content!

The not-speedrunner winning it all was the underdog story I didn't know I wanted.

I got so used to this style of gameplay vid that for a moment I forgot that Odyssey normally wouldn't be possible to do this in. If you could do this in BotW that would be completely insane xD

Crafty is such a mood. Whenever I play hide and seek (yes I’m in high school, yes I still play hide and seek) I have the best hiding spot, so everyone is running around and screaming and I’m chilling on my phone. Last time I hid under the stage in the metal brackets, so when I came out at the end I got multiple people to yell “WAIT ADA WTF?!”

CJ: “did you go into the captain toad area?” Ant: “no, that was somebody else” Crafty, the one actually hiding in the captain toad area: “please tell me his pathological lying skills have affected CJ to the point where he believes him that he went down here and he doesn’t check” my personal fave moment from this vid, crafty exposing smant for lying so often :’) awesome videos and streams, they are so much fun to watch!! hope to see more multiplayer in the future :D

This feels like so much fun that it would honestly make for a good permanent addition to the game. This was a great time to watch and all the props to the Odyssey modding community that made this happen

This is the most action packed game of hide and seek I've seen in years! My friends and I used to play a similar version of hide and seek in Kirby Air Ride city trial mode, and Donkey Kong 64 multiplayer mode before that. Some of my fondest childhood gaming memories~ I'd love to see more.

Imagine Mario Odyssey with Dark Souls-style invasions! You're just playing through as normal, but with a switch to allow invasions turned on, and another player spawns in your world with the express intent of taking you out. That sounds like beautiful chaotic fun!

This was actually SO ENTERTAINING. Please do more of these! I would love to see people develop strats and pull off sick dukes from cool movement tech

I’d like to see one where there’s a fixed time per round and hitting someone as a seeker makes you a hider and them a seeker and the player with the most time as seeker loses. So basically hot potato.

It's amazing to see how many of these videos they have made up until now. I've got a playlist of all 42 of them.

ok, that toad juke was an amazing play. I only wonder how he could have extended it... 3 seekers means doing it a second time almost certainly wouldnt work, as the closest would have time to refill air as another came down, all while still leaving one to guard the exit pipe. That really only leaves out-maneuvering all 3 of them in the water just outside camp, but there is no guarantee it would have given him more time compared to what did happen. So all that leaves to explore is what to do once he escaped. I wonder if going backwards through the ruins would have worked, but it is still a swimming competition and would eventually corner himself if he did make it all the way back. At the same time, if the bubbles are universal, a close race through the ruins could drown the seekers as the runner takes them all. Either way, going through the ruins does mean water, and the slowed water movement speed does mean more time is spent going the same distance. i think if you do this again, you should probably stick to one kingdom per match, as the bigger kingdoms inflate time as seeker simply by travel time, meaning anyone who gets stuck as the initial seeker gets a massive disadvantage. One match per kingdom also gives everyone more opportunity to learn the good hiding spots, and might just evolve a meta of its own. It may also be worth banning sub areas (2d sections up for debate), as the maps already get quite big for seeking without them.
