@@SuperMYutuactually no, the v2, lite and oled switches are more power efficient because of a newer x1 mariko chip so they have longer battery but all models have exactly the same cpu and gpu performance. The loading beeing faster here is probably because the game is stored on internal storage which is faster than cartridge or sd card
@@vexnity460 How and why would they change the UI for a bigger screen? It's the same resolution, the games are just being shown to you with a bigger monitor
it’s probably if it’s on an sd card or system storage and what sd card it’s loaded on that made the time difference otherwise I don’t think there should have been any difference at all (aside from possible aging causing the original switch to run slower? Not sure if that’s true or not though)

I'd like to see some other details to ensure this is fair: 1. Were all loading from the same source, memory card, system, or cartridge? The only fair comparison would be direct from the system or from the cartridge since memory cards can cause performance variances even if they're the same kind. 2. Was each system equally empty of storage? I'm fairly certain that a loaded up hard drive can cause loading time increases. 3. Were all systems at factory settings and not modded? There's definitely visible variance in speed with this video, but it seems uncertain to me from this video that the Switch model is the sole reason for that.
I feel like the switch OLED is better I have one and I have been having a really good experience with it probably because of the graphics Maybe or maybe like a regular switch it has that colorful Joy cons
I tried this with me and my brothers switch, he has a lite and I have an oled (We also have a family switch but it need to be repaired). So anyway we did the exact same thing with those two switches and his was loading like a second before mine. So maybe it depends on how old they are because he just got that switch like 1 month or 2 ago
You can still connect joy cons to a switch light, it just has to be separate joy cons you bought at the store or something. Unless you want to brutally tear apart the console, which is pretty awesome.

Explained: all three versions have the same GPU CPU and RAM, so FPS would be the same and performance at all, but load speed depends on SPEED of RAM, so oled have the fastest local RAM speed
@@trevordpI think it can be two if it’s different accounts (one in the account that owns the game, and one on the accounts primary switch. So maybe they’ve got two copy’s, one for speed running any% and one for minimum captures
If you already have a switch stay with it but if you don't have a switch get the OLED because if you have a regular switch you are just paying for a bigger screen and slightly better loading time. The OLED is pointless if you already have a normal switch is what I am trying to say but I would always recommend a 3ds
The OLED is obviously the best one, as soon as I got mine I caught up on all the Pokémon games I missed out on when my old switch broke and now I’m finishing Kakarot. I’d definitely say grab the OLED for a way smoother experience, you won’t regret it.
The OLED is faster because the screen has a quicker refresh time apart from that it is the same in my opinion the original switch is better because the OLED breaks easily I bought one and I accidentally dropped it on carpet the entire screen shattered because the OLED is made of cheap plastic and the screen is glass if you want a durable switch that is 0.01% slower get the original switch i hope this finds you well!
nobody is talking about how disgusting is the yellow tint on the original switch, i owned one and it doesnt look like that. Nintendo should have a calibration color app built for every switch. I've seen other consoles (lites included) and it's very inconsistent, some have that yellow tint and others don't
