Mario Party 2: Mini Game Coaster Hard Course (No Fails) 

Are you talking world 7, yeah it's toughest world simply because of Abandon Ship. None of the others in that world are super tough but Abandon Ship is made to make you lose repeatedly.

@@juanpablouriascruz1411 Skateboard Scramper is easy because as long as you do what I do and jump as you go up every incline every time and double jump near the end with the final coin, it is very hard to lose that one if you do so as you will get a good lead. The CPU are only on normal for that one. The hard and Super Hard CPU do the jump on the upward incline trick. They also aren't on hard CPU for Mecha Marathon as that current record in the video was from a hard CPU doing so and sometimes in that one, I've had the CPU barely reach 20 yards.

Will give it a try to that trick. But as for mecha marathon, at times the cpu have reached 36 yds!

CountBleck2009 I don't think it's the game itself that is hard but rather certain elements make a game unwinnable, whether it be spinning out at the last turn. Even though day at the races may seem luck based there is a pattern to tell who will usually win. The tell is look at when each racer messes up, the closer to the beginning they are when they mess up the more likely they are to win. Some of the tells can be more obvious then others. Same with the follow the ghost game in Mario party 1 and always have someone ahead of you to make sure no one gets captured

Have a pen and paper and literally right down the combination as fast as possible using Up, Down, Left, Right arrows and B, A, Z and use a letter like X for when you aren't supposed to move at all. You don't have much time but this is the best strategy you can do.

7-1 Honeycomb Havoc - Math minigame, do not worry about the coins. In the final round, take one always first to get and try to map out your scenario. If it's your turn and there are five fruits left, take 2, if only four, take one. Guarantees you cannot lose. I did get lucky here and screwed up, but the CPU incorrectly took one fruit with two left instead of both (This is corrected in Mario Party Superstars). 7-2 Mecha-Marathon - Do not focus on the screen when doing this, make sure you mash A+B together and that it registers as a "press" of the buttons. I never look at the screen on this minigame. Just keep going to even after the clock reaches zero as well to guarantee you get credit for an extra button press. 7-3 Abandon Ship - Designed to make you fail. Key is to again, ignore the coins and rapidly press A. Avoid the fish especially at the end but there is also a trick to this one in that the lower you are on the mast, the faster you will climb, time your last climb after the final fish jump and be in position to just have to mash A rather than trying to have to turn as well. In the video, you can see Yoshi made a massive comeback and easily could've won because he was behind. This is easily the hardest minigame to win besides Look Away in me opinion. 7-4 Hot Rope Jump - Ignore the CPU's and only focus literally on your character's jump timing. The rope's pattern is pretty simply, just don't take for granted what you think the speed will be on the next swing around because that is where you are going mess up. Take it one jump at a time. 7-5 Skateboard Scramper - Despite being the Hard course, the CPU is only on normal for this one as they do not jump on the inclines whereas on harder difficulties they do. On the inclines, always jump to get ahead and on the final stretch with the final coin, double jump like I do and you will come out of that stretch without losing much speed. But again, jump on the inclines and you should be out ahead. 7-6 Platform Peril - Once again, ignore coins especially the ones on the middle of the platforms where you have to jump quickly to grab one and just simply time your jumps on the other platforms. Hope this helps.

@@CountBleck2009 Thanks for the advice, I’ll give it another go. I restarted the “goal” all those years ago out of frustration and never bothered to finish since then.

@@CountBleck2009 Thank you for your assistance! I finally beat the hard course on the VC version on my switch. Years after struggling on the original cartridge, I managed to complete MP2. In part, because of the suspend states.
