My dad owned a photography studio when my brother and I were growing up so my family would spend all our time there. I remember this being one of the only game cube games we had and my brother and I would sit up in the attic and play this for hours :) thanks for this! Brings back memories!
@@fco64 I have never played this Mario Party game before. I do recall memories of me playing MP5, and MPA, but I have never even seen this one before, nor have I played MP6, or MP7.
The beautiful thing about mario party is that the game is different every time. There is a lot of board spaces, making the luck based dice rolling special, and of course, the randomly selected minigames, the best feature of Mario party. Unlike normal mario games, the levels and challenges are always he same, making mario party unique and different.
I like how the characters who lost say something, or moan, like in Super Mario Party, instead of being silent like in Mario Party 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, and DS
Mario Party DS does have some minigames where the losers moan when they lose (all coin bonus minigames if they collect zero, shorty scorers and cherry go round) but not many.
Hands down the BEST Mario Party. I'm watching this because I don't know what happened to my Mario party 4 :(. I'm having to resort to my fiance's favorite.. 5.
this brings back childhood memorys with my siblings all sitting down on the floor with 4 game cube controllers and beating each others butt, my little sister got little satly because she was never good, but it was great fun :)
OMG ARE YOU SERIOUS?! Bowsers Minigame Fruits of Doom! Litterally only had 11 Fruits?! I swear when I was a kid it made it seem like there was 40!! The list was as follows, Strawberry, Cherry, Melon, Pineapple, Banana, Cherry, Orange, Melon, Melon, Apple, Grape. I slowed it down to .05 and kept pausing and playing just to get the list.
You should talk to him about this game and the other awesome games that are 100 times better than fortnite!! That would get him that nostalgia that you are seeking now!!
In 2022, Mario Party 4’s 20th anniversary and all minigames and boards needs to be on Mario Party Superstars but some minigames are already on Mario Party Superstars.
I remember finding this game in a home depot for some reason. It was bundled with a wave bird wireless controller and my dad actually got it for me. This game is such a gem. Such a feel good game. Watching this video makes it feel like yesterday...
I personally feel like most Mario Parties from now on should contain the most Iconic mini-games from some instalments. Mushroom Mixup, Shy Guy Says and Hand-car Havoc from 1; Bombs away, Dizzy dancing, Bowser's big blast, Crazy Cutters, Look away, Lights out and Bob-sled run from 2; Mario's Puzzle Party, Messy Memory, Snowball Summit, Coconut conk, Picking panic, Eatsa Pizza, Motor rooter, and Vine with me from 3; Booksquirm, Goooooooal and Dungeon duos from 4; Pushy Penguins, Coney island, Squared away and Tube it or lose it from 5; Catch ya letter and Snow brawl from 6; Take me Ohm, the Final countdown and Hip Hop Drop from 7, Loco motives from 8, Camera shy and Cube chushers from DS; Skewer Scurry from 10 and Slaparazzi from Super Mario Party.
i loved how the old mini games had unique scenarios now mario party 9 and 10 have textures and locations taken straight from the new super Mario bros games ughh
amanda claireon i always tap L and R fast at first because I thought it would fill up the balloon fast but it didn't work until i realized you're supposed tap both buttons slowly because it gives more air and fills up the balloon fast
I just noticed all the mini-game categories have unique animations for the "Start" and "Finish" text! All this time I thought the animations were randomized.
Some BGM in MP4 is similar to BGM in MP3. For example, "Twist and shake " and "Fighting spirit" "Swaying genthly" and "Aim" "Slowly yet surely" and "On your toes" "Hurry Hurry" and "Panic!" "Heart pumping" and "What to do" "Languid cold sweat" and "big trouble" "Creepy cave" and "long road up"
And I’m also disappointed that DK’s voice was not by Grant Kirkhope and Luigi still having blue when it should have been green for Yoshi to become teal
