Hello everybody, SlimKirby here, and it's time for another minigame ranking video, this time for Mario Party 9!
The 9th installment (of the numbered games anyway) took a major departure away from the classic gameplay of Mario Party, but thankfully we're not here to talk about that as our focus is remaining purely on the minigames today. And even more thankfully, Mario Party 9's roster of minigames is actually quite good. Maybe not the best of the series, but I'd say more than 85% of the games are good, or at worst decent. So don't be shocked if you see a favorite of yours quite low on the list, as chances are, I don't think that game is necessarily bad, more that I just personally don't resonate with it that well myself. I know for a fact there might be a game or two that will surprise you with where I placed it, so PLEASE keep that in mind.
As I mentioned last video, as usual, this list is purely my opinion, so we may not see eye-to-eye on some placements and how I ranked certain mini-games, and that is absolutely ok. Feel free to discuss your own changes or placements in the comments section below. Also, if you want to have some impact for the next ranking video, every Friday at around 2:00 PM EDT, I play Mario Party on my Twitch channel and sometimes I do mini-game tier lists, which ultimately become these rankings. At the core, these videos will still be my personal opinion, but sometimes listening to some additional input will give me different things to think about which can in turn change some of these rankings around.

Note: For those wondering about the thumbnail for this video, on Twitter I asked what 4 minigames come to mind when thinking about Mario Party 9 and those 4 games were the most common answers. I didn't get as many answers this time because I asked this question kind of late this time around, plus I wasn't expecting as many answers for this because this is Mario Party 9 where people started kind of stepping back from the series a bit. However, there were 4 games that stood out definitively and those were the ones that got thumbnail credit this time!
