Alright GAMERS, here's a STEP BY STEP guide on HOW TO GET 100 STARS in Mario Party DS 1. Select DK's Stone Statue on 30 turns 2. Get 500 coins 3. Pray to RNG gods during Final 5 Frenzy that you get "Stars for 5 coins" 4. Profit
Man this TAS is so awesome. I always wondered if 99 was possible since as a kid I think the most I ever got on this board was around 60-70ish. Very nice work
My latest run netted me 88 stars total. Over the course of the first 29 turns, I got 10 stars through hexes, star blocks, and duels, and then on the final turn, I used a star pipe, got 75 stars, and then landed on a duel space and got one more star. After the last minigame, I got two bonus stars. Oh, almost forgot, my handicap was set to 3 stars.
you never did this as a child? i always did this, rejecting the stars and getting coins and then at the last 5 turns resetting the game until stars are worth 5 coins
@@johnappleseed3428 lmfao that's hilarious but i didnt no. This games turn system in single player is so exploitable you can effectively nullify its difficulty.
eh, I vastly prefer Cheep Cheep Chance, it’s much quicker, and since it’s not a battle minigame, you won’t be playing for half of all the coins ever (Sure you could have as much as 4 stars on the line if you get cheep cheep chance as a duel minigame, but a vast majority of the time you’re just going to be playing it as a standard minigame for just 10 coins) Also I always get screw over in chips and Dips so there’s probably a bit of a grudge factoring in there
@@timegame8026 =)))))))) yes! I tried my damn luck to avoid that fucking zone all the time, and somehow really managed to skip the green spaces with falling barrels either my character stepped on the space or others did it!
I have only gotten to turn ten, and I suspect the Tas plans to be in last place by the final stretch so it can select the “All Stars are 5 Coins” change.
Poor Toad. 11 turns in and he has literally nothing. Edit: Toad's in first! :D Edit 2: You monster. Edit 3: 1:00:24 Funny thing is, he's still basically getting 100 stars from it anyways. Well, 75 technically.
2:16 In all my days playing Mario Party DS, I've never seen anyone mash buttons this fast and beat Pedal Pushers in 15 seconds. Actually, I can't remember how long it's been. I stopped because I kept getting trolled and obliterated by the CPUs (and RNG) in Story Mode.
@@KetttererMaybe when there comes a time when I do come back to Mario Party DS. And get my revenge on Bowser's Elite Trio of Monsters with Mario and his real friends. UPDATE: My real enemy is RNG. It refuses to let me win, and it punishes me for ACTUALLY winning! Therefore, I AM NEVER PLAYING MARIO PARTY DS AGAIN!!!
@@MarsofAritia yeah. Dice blocks are a scam, the role is already pre-decided from the minigame before no matter how long you wait and try to hit a good role
@@glacetnaramki7013 What's the point of this TAS being 30 rounds long? I just did a 99 stars game with 20 rounds, and I think a 10 round game is humanly possible if you master the beehive's coins.
