I did 4.5 the other day and I switched my method about halfway through the game so I think I can actually improve on that a bit. Now 3.4? Idk about that that is crazy good lol
@@DeathOfTime_Official Depends on what controller you are using. Some controllers are more suited to mashing than others. I use a GameCube and I’ll rub my thumb over the A button back and forth extremely quickly

There’s no real strategy except for mashing A. There’s different ways to mash fast, but which ones are effective vary from person to person. A pretty popular one that’s sorta easy to learn is to tense your forearm so you can vibrate your finger up and down really fast.
You need to do full button presses including release, so if you're "pressing" the button repeatedly but never released then you won't swing any more. Personally I hold the controller in my right arm stiff and then vibrate my left hand rapidly.
A lot of people are wondering how I mash so quick. And I'm actually not that quick of a masher. This version of pokey pummel differs from the MP7 version such that you need to mash a consistent rate rather than an extremely fast rate. Which is why turbo controllers can cap out at 3.23 easily. My strategy of mashing is mapping l and zl to a. Then I put my thumb and brother finger in a circle. Then I start sliding on the buttons. My record is 4.13

There are literally thousand of mario party minigames and they choose this crappy minigame? I find it really boring, as you early on can see who already won. And even the animation looks unrealistic.
