Mario Party Superstars Review 

If they actually support this game post launch with DLC maps, mini games, and maybe costumes this could be the best in the series

The fact that they thought of the idea for a game like this if someone drops out and the AI takes over til they return is awesome. So many games now days not always on Nintendo mind you don't have this option. Glad they did this. But knowing some people on here, someone will find something else to Bi%*# about lol.

Mario Party is fun if you have non gamer guest at your house. Great way to get them involved in gaming fun. Also if you have young kids, its pretty fun getting them involved. IMO Mario party is a must buy if you have a Switch.

been playing this all weekend with my wife and this is the most fun I've had playing mario party since the gamecube versions. Getting back to the basics and getting rid of all the gimmicks is the best route they could've taken. Hoping this has some long term DLC plan for more boards and characters

Would be awesome if Nintendo learned from Smash Ultimate and aimed to make this a long term ultimate game with its DLC surprises. Wont hold my breath though.

Of all Mario Parties released, this is actually the first game in the whole series to score above 79. The first one on N64 scored exactly 79 and everything released later than that on home console and handhelds alike scored lower than that, until this installment which scored a solid whopping 80.

Nintendo really missed on golden opportunity by not adding any dlc with this game

To this day I'm blown away Mario Party hasn't released a map creator mode Would be so fun to make your own maps

Finally they have got a grip and went back to what Mario Party is all about! Can't wait to get to play this tomorrow.

To me, the best Mario Partys were on Game Cube, 6 specially is my favourite till this day, this Mario Party Superstars is clibing the ladder real quick tho, played 10 hrs already and the game lauched yesterday it's a 8.5/10 for me so far, if they added 2+ boards, more playable characters and do some sort of holliday events like changing the board skin on christmas, or throwing in a limited special map for each holliday could easily be a 10/10

Yes yes! Having classic bonus stars lets you know what you can shoot for at the end. Never liked them when they changed the formula and made it random with cheeky bonuses like most red spaces or most money spent.

Can you play a random mini game without playing the game properly? Like is there a section you can select and select whatever mini game you want to play? Does it have to be 4 players?

Great review, will give this one a shot. The last Mario Party game for switch seemed over simplified and the mini games were okay... Mario Party 1 & 2 were our family favorites..excited to see some of our favorite mini games and classic maps brought back in this version!

I’m really happy about this because the crazy motion controls, special dice blocks, etc, made too high a learning curve for having a Mario Party and it wasn’t enjoyable for newbies

This game really just should have been DLC for Super Mario Party Switch. They would've made wayyy more money in my opinion. That'd be like 10 boards in one game and then a massive pool of mini games.

This game would have been perfect if you could create a custom minigames list. It would be great to remove or veto games that literally everyone hates.

Nintendo, just include tons of mini-games from the old MP games and remake the old boards and include them all in each subsequent Mario Party game. There is nothing wrong with having a massive selection of boards, characters, and minigames

Guys, you can play longer than 15 rounds online, just press Y and select rules. It's boring playing only 15 rounds

Question: can minigames still be played with motion controls as an option? motion controls are intuitive, fun and super easy to use for newbeginners and non-gamers (and they're fun, lol), and I'd hate to lose that option :/

They need a DLC with more maps,mini games and more characters. We wear this game out lol
