You know, I can honestly see this game becoming a series with the Rabbids traveling through different Nintendo worlds and accidently causing havoc. It would be the perfect way to keep the Rabbids relevant and offer more oddball crossover and interactions with other Nintendo properties. However, it would it have to be properties that are just as cartoony as the Rabbids like Splatoon or Kirby or Animal Crossing.

I know this is old, but for anyone playing in 2019: Rabbid Mario is a beast of an off-healer. Grab a vamp weapon and cover all the enemies you can.

Yeah I love this game. it's a 9/10 for me so far. I also wish there was more enemy variety and the fact saving can be a bit of a hassle.

I certainly agree with not being able to swap Mario out being a problem.

The DLC I'd want would be an expansion pack centered around Wario and Waluigi, with extra story bits centered around them, and containing new battles, enemies, and most importantly, Wario and Waluigi as playable characters.

Don't let the salty haters get to you, Arlo. I'm glad you enjoyed the game.

The quality of life choices the game provides on movement, resetting skill trees, being able to equally upgrade characters that you don't play as, and many others, are the kind of stuff that revolutionizes a genre. It's the kind of stuff that only new developers can come up with and veteran developers will look back and think "why did we even do it like that?". This is such a landmark title for this reason a many others.

I love this game. It deserved so much more DLC and attention.

I was in science class today playing Mario 3, listening to Mario galaxy and wearing a Mario shirt. I'm proud of myself.

Enjoyed the video! It's interesting to me that you played 90-95% of the time with Mario/rPeach/Luigi. I was curious so I went back and looked at my own stats, and it turns out that I used that combination only 10 times throughout the whole campaign (and only once in the final world). I've watched streams where different people (including the chat) had different approaches. Even watching your video, you seem to value hero sight, while I thought It was only situationally useful because of smashers being in many battles; in fact I used Luigi's 3x steely stare only once! What's great to me about this game is we each apparently played it in our own way and still had fun, and the game allows for that.

You should give rabbid luigi a second chance. A fully upgraded vamp dash can deal 160 damage and get 80 percent of it back, the rocket is great at destroying cover, teammates can heal from vamped enemy's making him a good healer, and a shield that stops damage and side affects and a weaken ability make him an op character.

I'm loving this game atm, great gameplay, outstanding music, great graphics, cool, funny story, charming characters, this may be the super Mario RPG of this generation. it even feels like the Paper Mario we will never get again.

Are you kidding? World 3 is the best one! It is also the most creative. Plus Phantom singing makes me laugh.

It's interesting to see the Completionist first and hearing his gameplay going up to 120 hours, then coming to Arlo and him being like, 15 hours.

This game is what introduced me to the (almost) masterpiece that is XCOM 2 (probably the inspiration for the gameplay).

Rabbid Luigi is straight up the best healer in the game, his Vamp ability has saved my ass so many times now.

I was pleasantly surprised how fun this game is, though the camera limitations are probably THE most annoying aspect of it, followed closely by the requirement to finish a chapter in order to save and quit.

I LOVE this game- one of my favourites ever. I took a chance as it was a v cheap download and I subsequently bought the Donkey Kong DLC. I really really hope there’s a full sequel!

13:19 his base damage is very low, but his late game weapons have a 100% stone or vamp chance (I choose stone because his dash can vamp), meaning he can consistently do 350 damage per hit, while skipping the enemies turn. Combine that with his shield and weaken, and his 160 damage dash that inflicts 100% vamp, and you have a busted Healer/Tank that can stun enemies, reduce damage, and heal your team, all while dealing lots of damage with crits lots of damage. A very busted character late game imo. He also goes well with Rabbid Yoshi, who can block 2 hits every 2 turns, has decent hp, and some of the highest firepower and best Super Effects in the game (even if he does have low crit chance)

Characters that can apply vamp or have vamp guns are also a different type of healer and usually a lot more effective healers as well. Literally half the roster can heal your other allies, two are direct healers while the other two are in-direct healers that rewards being aggressive. So there is quite a bit of strategy you can do with your party.

I'm always glad to hear other people understand how the Rabbids are significantly more nuanced in their shenanigans than the Minions.

I bought Kingdom Battle since I could not find any decent games at that time. This game gave me a big surprise. It is waaaay better than I was expecting. Even until now, I was thinking that this game is waaaaayy under-hyped. I do not really like Ubisoft (not yet as much as I hate EA) but this game is a big surprise to me.

Got it recently during the digital sale. I was on the fence but I'm so glad I gave it a chance.

To get the elephant out of the room: I have no problem with our TBTSGT community.

I really hope they release dlc characters from other nintendo games, like if some amiibos were sucked in to the world and you could play as shulk rabbid or something. It could also make it better for amiibo owners, as you could get the normal character for free if you have the amiibo but for ubisoft you would still have to pay for the rabbid version

If you go through all the Perfects and Challenges you'll start using all the characters- Everyone has at least 1 thing that sets them apart. (Yoshi's groundpound, RMario's exploding dash and RYoshi's huge movement range, shields and dashes)

This game is amazing! My line up was the same with Luigi, Mario, R peach. My 2nd string was Mario and the two peaches

Arlo, if Arlo Plays is still a thing, I think a playthrough of this game would be realy cool and fun. I don't expect this to happen, but I would be STUPID excited if you did.

There is a very obscure nod to odyssey in this game. After you get the second power up, the robot will say "Odysseus would be proud" refrencing the main character from Homer's epic: The Odyssey

The music being too underplayed or just orchestral noise has been a problem with Grant's style for years now. He simply doesnt want to let orchestra go and tries to be the next Pixar or some shit. All i want are catchy N64 style tunes and its obvious hes capable of that in this game but it rarely happens.

I am having some serious fun with this game. Some of the crazy things you can pull off during your turn are just epic if you really think about it and bounce all over but I agree it would have been nice to leave Mario out.

Hold on one second... This is just a remake of Super Mario RPG! - Mario is a permanent party member - Peach is the best/only healer - There's one character that almost no one uses - Repeat playthroughs never get boting - Lots of palette swaps - Bosses are possibly the best part - Easily could've been expanded upon - Fun

World 3 was the best level in the entire game! It's was challenging with it's turns and twists. The design and details were amazing!

It would be nice to get an alternate mode or something that allows you to swap out Mario. Like, the same campaign, but not necessarily with Mario.

Rabbie Luigi is the best character in the game lol

I saw a blue puppet creature and subscribed instantly, a reflex I didn't even know I had.

I personally went Mario, Luigi, and Rabbid Luigi, because Rabbid Luigi acted as my healer [with his vampire dash and vampire weapons]. Hitting enemies with vamp lets your allies also vamp off of them, so it's an indirect way to heal [and get some damage off while you're at it].

For healers you are forgetting rabbid luigi, who I actually find to be the best healer in the game with his vamp dash and vamp gun. Also, he isn’t weak fire power wise, as later you find that he has extremely high chances of critical hits (even reaching 100%) allowing him to deal just as much, if not more damage than others.
