ive finally found some footage of one of the old jobs I used to work on here in eastern ky. type in coal mining in Appalachia. Starfire had a p&h 4100 and the marion 8050. how rare is the 8050 Justin? I figured youd be the one to ask. many memories of 18 to 20 shifts steam cleanin and havin to pretty much bathe in the pond in between tanks of water lol. tough in the winter spryain ice off with ice lol

Depends on the digging conditions and job setup. Also a dragline offers the lowest operating cost.
