Good evening and welcome to the opening show of Season 10 of Shhh! Productions Vintage Radio Hour--sponsored by our friends at Dutch Creek Winery. Our COVID-inspired project now encompasses almost 160 fantastic performers and technicians, ages 10-83, from 23 states, Canada and the UK, and seeks to transport our wonderful audiences back to the golden days of radio. Our gifted storytellers will ignite your imaginations by bringing you a collection of three shows filled with murder, monsters and maybe a little mayhem.
The upcoming show, Marionettes, Incorporated--originally airing in 1955--features the cast of Bob Clark (FL), Ben Gorman (AZ), Vinnie Mason (VA) and Tony Roseboro, Mary Trapp Gray, Kim Garrison Hopcraft, Stephen Hanna and Eric Gnezda (all from Ohio) in a weird tale about old school style artificial intelligence…or maybe that’s being too generous. You decide-after you sit back, turn down the lights and Shhh!
