Lived there in the mountains for most of my life and they never get old. Think you need to plan summers there. Sure you can come up with a plan and schedule to make it work. Colorado is absolutely beautiful and the summers are perfect! Lived there for 4 years! Wish the horse industry was bigger there! It exists but definitely doesn't compare to places like Oklahoma, North Texas, or even Scottadale... where the summers are excruciating!🤣
It's hard with winter in the mountains being 9 months long. There are lots of ranches and farmd though on the prairies on the east side. Even west and south Colorado has a lot of horses. It takes a lot of money and people with money usually split their time between homes. That's also why Ocala took off. Colorado is also an EXTREMELY expensive state. Sadly, it's essentially California, but with more snow these days.

I would love to come out there for a vacation I'm so used to riding Arabians it would be nice to ride those incredible trails on a quarter horse. My first horse ever was a quarter I have a love in my heart for them!

I’m very familiar with what you’re talking about. Are you familiar with the conformation of the quarter horse? Specifically reining bred? Does it appear that I have a large amount of pressure on the bridle to achieve the flexion that Roscoe is offering? You have a right to speak your mind but please be Very careful launching accusations. I watch my video very carefully before I publish them. For a multitude of reasons I try to keep very real. I have no problem with open discussion BUT if you do the troll thing and write messages such as your first then, Sorry I’m out as well. Have a great day and thanks for watching
@@mattmillsreining1 I do not want to troll or accuse you. I just did not like the look of it and would not practise it at any cost myself. Yet, I am far from a professional. I just think if any amateur guys start to copy things from a video they might hurt their horses. Same applies to any kind of dressage, jumping, etc. etc. horse sports videos. Don't be mad. Old hags are outspoken sometimes ;) Have a good time.
