As I lay in death, my son Comfort me today Once I made a sin so strong Repentance true, I pray My lady, she is strong and fair And in her bed I lay But lies I told, my lust was bored And here comes judgment day But here comes the time I feel my conscience cry Forsaking her on the forest floor And here I come to die I told her she was beauty true Her curves and arches fine I loved her music mournfully But by her graceful lines And when I lusted after her My woman slept at home An infidel, a faithlessness I let my mistress roam But here comes the time I hear the clock bells chime Forsaking her on the forest floor And here I come to die Oh as I lay in death, my son A bed of solid stone Do not walk the lines of lust The vices that I've roamed And if you see the ghost of her Kiss her once for me Kiss her for the moon so white And kiss her for the sea...
@devilxking2 I was talking about her previous one, "Little Hells". I find her new one much better than "Little Hells". Althought I am still missing her old style, I now also appreciate the new turn in her last album. Maybe Little Hells was just an experiment ;-)
What do you want to her to sing murder ballads her whole life? I don't like some aspects of the new record but you must admit her voice has become more emotionally laden. She's only getting better.
