I liked this interview so much that I checked out Marissa Nadler’s music on RU-vid, saw some videos I liked and subscribed to HER channel. Elliott, you’re a very professional, excellent interviewer. You seem to really make it count when you meet an entertainer. The questions are thoughtful. And the entertainers cannot help but be honest.

Marissa Nadler is so gorgeous like a 1920s kind of beauty. I loved the interview and been a fan since her 2005 album, under an old umbrella was love in first sight. Strangers is my favorite 2016 album. I hope that someday she comes to Brazil cuz i would love take a picture of her.

I've never heard of her but I like this kind of music, when I'm not rocking out to punk and metal. Another good interview with a rather obscure artist, Elliot. If you want to hear some chill music, I'd recommend a band from the '90s called The Sundays.

this one was realy a touched one. i didn´t know marissa nadler befor, but you can see and hear that she´s carrying some big stones in her heart and she seems to be normally very closed minded. propably because of her unique character in her childhood - no child want to be "alone in the basement". anyway, elliott found the right tone and words to open her up and talk freely about her innerself opinions. it was @ 2:09 when he didn´t ask about her beaty or angel-like voice - instead he asked if she thinks about how her music make other people feel better. just the reaction is stunning and after this she smiled and laughed alot - like me too, when watching the interview...
