Comedian Daniel Fernandes talks about the Government's decision to not criminalize marital rape in India. Facebook: danielwfernandescomedian Twitter: @absolutelydanny Location: Canvas Laugh Club, Mumbai
Stand up comedians are sharp witty and intelligent. It's an art to convey important messages reflecting the society. Sadly the "elected officials" take the power vested on them for granted that they take steps as per whim and fancy. Unfortunate few who questions the "authority" gets to meet their maker.
Coz you don't listen to most of them as attentively as you listen to stand Up's . Coz your conclusion about the politicians is based on the false assumptions. I think we have responsible politicians whose personality is a reflection of the real side of our society, unideal and uninspiring.
@@dhirajchaudhary4041 Not that people don't listen- there are people who listen keenly but only to be shocked at the ridiculous statements that they make based on their sentiments and forced sympathy due to their loyalty for their party. Rather than owning up the mistakes and making sure that it does not repeat.
Siya Raizada same goes to some women..Just because he said I will pay the bill on first date doesn’t mean you would not have to depend on him for the rest of his fucking life..

My mom suffered from marital rape. My siblings and me even witnessed it but my father was so disgusting and shameless he never stopped. He completely scarred my mother and broke her. Even after he died, my mom still cries while asleep because of the trauma he left her with. I wish the govt. would think it over again and criminalize it😭
The fact that its been almost 4 years since this video has come out and marital rape hasn't been criminalized speaks so much about judicial system of India💁

It's not so easy for Indian woman to denounce the husband. Some of these woman are financially dependent and by reporting they'll be putting the bread earner behind bars. That's why we need to not only educate our daughters but ensure financial independence.
I was married forcefully by my father(he beat me up and abused me to) to a pig( my first cousin) and the time I spent with that bastard there was a lot of physical and mental abuse and yeah marital rape ofcourse.I am just 22 and divorced now but i have been through such trauma.i from Pakistan.
You are strong and just don't ever ignore these things.... even if you have ever, don't repeat that mistake again of ignoring these things.... Just get rid of him and you will definitely find a respectful man, waiting out there for you..... there are a lot of nice men too.....I know it would be little hard to take such decisions.. But it's your life... Don't give society or any outer voices to influence your decisions..... Fight for your rights.... And I assure you that everything is gonna be alright.....
I am proud of you for having the courage to talk abt it in public, you had a bad past but i know you will be happier in future, i wish i could do something abt it but i am just 15 yrs old😞.......in future i wanna stand up for all these strong females like you and get them justice....also i wanna abolish FGM from the world, marital rape is an issue and much more girls are facing it than normal rape. Irony is, y'all are only listening and appreciating this since it's coming from a male comedian (scroll through some of the comments too). If a female comedian did the same thing, y'all would dismiss it with "the same old feminist bs blah blah". Please note, that I really loved this stand up and his effort and the way he pulled it off, I'm just trying to make a point.
@Gajah Simha False equivalency. If she steals from him, it’s definitely theft. He should get divorced. Anytime someone breaks ur trust, it’s a huge red flag and should be treated as such. Without trust and respect, u don’t have a marriage. Just a business deal. That said, ur example is akin to a man touching his wife or stealing a kiss. Now....if the woman sells his car or property without his consent, causing a long term damage...that’s more like a marital rape. Or worse...takes his money and leaves/divorces him.
@Gajah Simha If u let ur partner break ur trust or disrespect u even in small manners, with time, they start believing that either it’s okay to do so or that u believe that u simply don’t deserve it. Or both. Which means that it’ll be something that they’ll do more often and on a bigger scale every time. Time is precious and so is ur love/life. Leave now and find someone that truly loves/respects u and invest ur time/effort in them. Or be disappointed a decade or two down the road and hate urself for wasting all that time/energy on someone u KNEW wasn’t worth it. U don’t wanna be living in that hell. It’s easy to fall in love or even marry someone and then see their true colors later on. It can happen to ANYONE. No one can know who someone is for sure. The key is to cut ur losses as soon as possible and save urself or even ur kids, if necessary. U don’t wanna have kids with someone u don’t like, that’s just horrible parenting, even before they’re born. And even if they’re born, it’s criminal to have a partner that doesn’t respect u in front of ur kids. It’ll mess them up for the rest of their lives.
'Just because she said " I do" doesn't mean u never have to ask her again..!' 'Only time when a boy is not rejected is when he is born' 'In 100 languages "no means no"' 👏👏👏👏👏👏👌

There is a huge pool of stand-up comedians right now. But the topics that you choose to speak about differentiates you from all others. You are doing a great work :) It's probably the best way of bringing a change in the society.
One i was in my class being taught on a very interesting topic RAPE.. when all of a sudden my teacher started telling us that there is no offence known as marital rape .. bcz when you marry someone you give a hidden voluntary consent to your partner to have sexual intercourse (which according to him also includes the marital rape).. you have already given your consent to the partner and thus marital rape doe not exist .. imagine this is being taught in a classroom to young people .. the wrong thing .. instead of telling students more about marital rape he denied it's existence .. just because he thought it was ok to rape someone because you were married to them without the consent .. sick mentality
I don't think u read the definition of rape u live in a phobia where u think it husband would have no other work other than to feed on u ....good thing for u not to marry because these hippies r trying to justify live -in here
Bhaskar Mazumdar with a proper trail in court. Just like in other rape cases. I agree it will be difficult to prove since the home would be the place of incident ans the evidence, if any, would be long gone but marital rape is morally incorrect and hence should be criminalised. I know in most of the cases the husband would not get a serious punishment but perhaps atleast he might fear his wife a little. I think it will most likely be useful for divorce cases. So it does help on some extent. Marital rape not being criminalised only gives rapists more power. And there definitely needs to be more awareness on it, for both genders. Many women don’t even know when a crime has been committed against them because they aren’t aware if the law justifies it as a crime. There’s always family pressure in most of these cases but atleast a woman can make an informed decision if she finds the courage to. Knowledge is the best weapon.
@@bhaskarjyotimazumdar1443 The burden of proof lies with the state to prove guilt. The husband doesn't prove his innocence. He defends the charge with his version of events - the evidence is tested by examination and cross examination and the court decides who is more credible.
@@rasyarawal06 in India laws related to marriage are against the men. NO WAY he can screw up his wife using the legal system but she can destroy him with ease. She can divorce him easily. But divorcing her is like mission impossible for him. It normally takes 7 to 8 years in India to settle a divorce case. You said criminalizing marital rape will create fear among men. IPC 498A and 406 isn't enough?! To cohabitate with a woman has already become kind of Russian roulette.
@Gajah Simha ... you're serious right? Daniel even made a joke about it saying, "if I drive my car it is not called grand theft auto" that's the thing women aren't men's property, you can't use them whenever you like. And I think most women ask their husband for money, they don't just take it whenever they want. Also we're progressing as a society... please stop assuming women just get married for husband's wallet... a lot of women earn on their own now please instead of taking us (the society) backwards, try to progress your thought process. You will not only do good for the society, but you'll be helping women, and yourself too.
+Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj He did not say anything about a man killing an abusive wife, so why do you have to make assumptions? That killing part was anyway just for humor.
This is the need of the hour. Comdeians generally stay off such topics but Daniel you thrive on them! Its time India starts accepting and talking about such stuff!
marital rape law not need of time because we have plenty of laws under which a married woman can seek for justice in case of sexual abuse or any other type of abuse. but there is not a single law for married men to get justice in case of abuse in marriage. Our country allowed gay sex now but there is no law for "rape of men". can you imagine this? literally, no one is concerned about this.
@koro sensei yes but I am not seeing anyone pushing for gender-neutral laws rather they are asking for more and more gender biased laws, and now we are in the situation where more biased laws can damage other innocent sections of society. this matter of marital rape law will get passed easily if we already had gender-neutral laws.
I like the fact that you talked about a grim topic by making people laugh but not making the topic itself laughable. Lovely and love that the standards of both our values and our comedy is rising in the country. Watching you was like a balm. Thank you.
And in those 100 languages speaking people all are unable to solve the problem : how the hell on earth the husband will prove that he didn't rape her?!

Dear Danny, I can't remember how many times I've seen this video, and every time I watch it over the years, I find that each word you said still stands true. You mentioned that there will be a time when women have to be their own heroes, and yes, the struggle continues. It's 2020 and men still do not understand Marital rape or Domestic Violence and so do women. When we tell our mothers that some guy molested, they'd rather lock us up than speak against the guy, let alone the mothers of married women, who will teach their daughters the values of sacrifice and 'aurat sahansheelata ki murat hai' type dialogues.. and the process just continues.
Women don't want intercourse because for virgins it is painful, and most of Indian girls are virgins men should learn to treat virgins tenderly and accurately. Men should never be rude to wives, and they will be more willing for intercourse. The truth is that wedding night is very painful for many Indian women, so they hate intercourse.

The police then will treat the husband for physical violence not for the rape. But a wife should never call sex with her husband a rape or material rape must not legalise. soo neaty Who said its not a crime in Pakistan? Here is difference between maritel & non merital rape: If you have convinced your wife by sweat talk or extremely gentle foreplay type acts and she agrees for sex finally, its not maritel rape. But, if she was still saying No and you did forcibilly its rape. In non maritel rape she said No means No. Now you did it and she complains and its rape whether you woed her or made her ready or whatever. In fact its crime in Pakistan to have sex other than your wife. I know its happening; but if reported, both parties will be serious trouble.
@Shreyaawashere I have replied this comment last year, cannot remember the whole debate, (may be I have to watch the video again if I recall and this is really time consuming you know, last year all the time I have wasted on these nonsense debates, my one comment won't change things, so I have come up with better ideas, may be some day we can cross our paths again and discuss these topics) but got your point, certainly visit the link you share, thanks any way
Daniel, hates off to u bro. How simply u have clear the concept. it was a laugh but the real meaning was very deep. just because she said "I do", doesn't mean u don't have to ask again.
he is still not there, he is still at rape is from men to women, violence is only from men to women and women never lie about rape. He is another simpleton who needs to learn a lot about all these issues.
Ok, but even after people talking a lot about rape is from men to women, violence is only from men to women and women never lie about rape why are women still not safe? why aren't the guys who are raped coming forward, why aren't the men who are falsely accused of rape not coming forward? I am sure that if a guy comes forward with this he will get support!! maybe even more support than a woman would. Even if men don't support him a majority of women would! Maybe people don't talk about it because like the comedian said people aren't aware of it or once again its because the world misinterprets that women are weak and pathetic that they aren't capable of doing something like that. You are the simpleton that need to stop whining and stand up for your men who got raped or falsely accused of rape! When feminists are fighting against rape they aren't only fighting for women they are fighting ALL VICTIMS. Maybe if you talk to actual male rape victims you will get some sense and If you just want to bitch and moan because people aren't giving attention to you then ignore this.
Arjun Yadav Women are not special, obviously! They have never been special, By living in this world when did you ever think that women were getting any kind of special treatment. But as a man you don't have to live everyday in fear of being raped and murdered. I have to fear for myself, my mom, my sister, my girl friends, and some times even children (boy and girl) I have to check on them 24 hrs. Not because all men are rapists but we cant be sure which one would be one! I know girls who have been abused by their own dads, uncles, brothers, friends etc. But that doesn't mean all men are like that. It is stupid to generalize that. If all women thought that then no one would get married or chose to have children and families. Women who falsely accuse men for rape should be severely punished because not only is she ruining one man's life but also peoples trust on rape victims. If somebody falsely accuses my son I will make sure that she gets punished and I'm 100% sure that other women will also support me. Rape is a horrible thing who ever the victim is. Truthfully saying its worse than murder because that poor person has to live with that horrendous memory everyday. To any person their body is their own. They chose to do what ever with it. But without that persons permission (consent) when another person touches them let alone enters into their most private part they feel like they lost power over themselves. They will hate themselves for not self protecting, they will feel disgusted, they will feel worthless and alone, they will have these memories that will haunt them till they are strong to find help. Apart from all this, people will tell them that they got raped because they didn't take enough care of them selves. NO human being female or male should go through that. Do you know why Jyothi was brutally raped? because she talked back to the guys who were harassing her for travelling with her boy friend at night. To the men what they were doing was right because they were "taught" that girls are not supposed to do that so took they law in their hand and decided to punish her. Its not that all men are rapists but the fact that they are taught that women are lesser than them and should have limits that is the problem. Rape is a hate crime that is done as a show of power. Like the rapist has power over the victim once he/she rapes them. Mostly from the beginning or time women and children were the victims. Crimes can be stopped for that people should be educated about these things. Not only religious education. Religions age back to centuries and times have changed sticking to those old ideals don't make any sense. If people did not fight for their rights in the past we would not have all that we have today.
Yeah! I felt the same way. Speaks somewhat of our society's state of empathy and i suddenly realize i can't distinguish which one's funny and which one is not. May be everything was..
That's what true comedy is, not the fart jokes but making people understand issues about society without being heavy... You laugh in the moment but after it's finished you realize the gravity of the situation... Actually this is how comedy and satirical jokes were born in the ancient world , "comedians" talking about politics to commoners while making jokes to be more appealing to the illiterate.
I think this might be a good way to introduce such a topic. The guy here is not defending, but condemning marital rape. He raised some very good points.
That is what comedy means. It should make you squirm, it should make you uncomfortable. Also it's a routine in comedy to make specifically racist and sexist jokes as a satire to mock the actual thing. This is not kapil sharma.
Ikr, I was constantly thinking, why the hell are these people laughing?!? And the women too?? Laughing about rape??? I get that a man can never understand what goes through a woman's mind when she's raped, but women atleast ought to understand and sympathize. Not freaking laugh about it!!
This video is for those ppl who dislike because they think standup is verbal diarrhoea This guy handled a delicate topic wisely...well said...few lines as a social message (you'll get them in comments)
out of the blue, I am experiencing marital rape, form the husband I love. It is so confusing and destruct full, it left me deeply sad and lounly, dirty and in rage. And so much more. I us a woman did not know rape in marriage can be an issue. I am from Germany. I am getting knollege on this online. It is to shameful to talk with people I know,of what I am experiencing. I found out that this is an pandemic worldwide, happening to woman. Thank you to this Indian Comedian, who as a MAN , is opening up hearts and eyes, in his superb funny way. Daniel Fernandes - thank YOU - my compliment !!! 👏😂
There is no justification for a wife’s repeatedly and cruelly depriving her husband of sex, telling him no over and over again, nagging and taunting him, and insulting his sexuality. And there is no justification for that woman demanding that that deprived man then give her half of the marital assets and his children and an income stream for two decades for the privilege simply of not having to suffer that deprivation any longer. There is no good warrant for supporting laws that would allow such things. And those who do support such laws are WORSE than half-savages.
+Abdirahman Ali Actually you just proved what kind of savage you are by supporting rape. A woman is NOT a property and marriage is a partnership not a license to abuse. If a woman saying no gives the husband the right to rape, then a husband saying no, gives the wife the right to cut off his limbs. Fair enough?
Have you ever thought of why women (or wives) say no a lot? Have it ever crossed your mind that maybe sex isnt as enjoyable for her as it is for you, and hence why she doesnt want to do it? Stop thinking about your own pleasure and start asking yourself whether your wife is having a good time in bed or if she hates it.
ana My dear, You are a strong person indeed to have survived that and still have such spirit U have my wishes and my hopes I sincerely hope ur situation gets better U deserve a happy life Im sorry Thats all i can do
I listened to your jokes and was not laughing actually I was trying to get on the other side of the joke you are telling. While people were really enjoying and laughing on all this I was analysing my self and the society we live in. I am from Pakistan and wives are treated the same way as in your country. Since we are two parts of a country once. Our culture and family relations are very same. I am really astonished that about 80% to 90% of women on both sides are suffering from the same issue. We need to teach our youngsters to respect a woman. He should take consent from his wife for having sex and if she says no then he should respect her and should not impose his will on her. I am living this way and happily married for about 8 years and we not only love each other but I have the respect of a man in the house that should be while most people get it by force.
Thats the point of dark humour, its used to address dark topics of society in a fun way, even tho ppl are laughing bec of the light hearted nature of the joke, the topic is deep and makes then think, its actually way more affective than a serious speech
@Gajah Simha Idk who u see around or what your living ways are but it is so miserable that u just think men marry for sex and women for money,Your shallow mind or a really sad life, u can choose what made u say that but coming to the issue,Theft is always theft,be it anyone who did it ,family ,wife, mother, and same for sex,how is it normal for anyone else to have right over your body? and if its okay then y is just forced sex fine, murder sounds fine too...normalizing a crime or unseeing it,never makes it better,a place where your wife steals your money and husband rapes u ,why should that be normal? is that how we should progress as a society?
Me too I didn't laughed much I was just analysing every fact he was saying because apart from dark humour this is all truth and this needs to be talked openly more often!
I kept ignoring this in my suggestions because the fact that there's comedy video oN marital rape but I'm glad now that I have it's not what I thought it was. Quite the opposite
I was thinking of reporting it when I saw the suggestion, but then I thought I might as well just check it. And I'm glad it's not what I thought it was.
THIS guy is single-handedly trying to make a difference to the mentality of nation through the medium of standup. RIP other standups who do santa-banta, mom-dad jokes
+Anu I would argue that the 'culture' is equally as culpable as the individual/society because it provides a safe haven for such activities to be carried out in an environment fostered by the society at large. After all, the individual did not force the creation of the law. but the 'culture' allowed his crime to be ignored if not encouraged. Our laws got MADE on the basis of culture, and not the individual.
+CharlieMason i wasn't being specific abt marital rape. My statement is a general one. N marital rape does exist in cultures across the world. It is case specific. Problem arises when a culture gets adultrated by other cultures n people behave irrationally.
Anu My statement wasn't specifically about marital rape either, but to the general culture. You seem to want to blame every other 'culture' by saying they influenced Indian culture to become bad, whereas the situation is such that Indian culture has proven that it protects marital rapists, when other cultures has created 'codified law' to prohibit it. Nothing against you, but one of the primary reasons given for why we don't illegalize marital rape, or aren't harsh enough on rapists in general. is that it is against tradition Indian culture, so I fail to see why you would defend such a culture.
+CharlieMason are u Indian? Because I clearly see u knw nothing abt its culture. I wouldn't refrain from saying that our laws and it's execution are poor. But democracy never existed when our culture was formed. Crime is on the rise because of poor law and order not culture. N yes other cultures did have a bad effect on Indian culture. I have nothing against you but it doesn't matter whether you accept it or not.
Relax bro, I mostly agree with everything you said. All I'm saying is that there are specific parts of our country's culture, the tradition one, not corrupted by foreign cultures, that still causes problems for law and order today. No one says they will light their daughter on fire if she gets raped because of what some foreign culture taught Indians, it is in our own nature and culture to say that. And saying democracy didn't exist back then is a poor excuse if the country has had over half a century to advance our culture, especially if we even have examples from the rest of the world for better ideas. Bottom line is, until we have law makers who themselves use the crutch of culture as an excuse to be regressive, not much can be done to blame anyone else. What allowed these people to use their culture as a defense if it wasn't the culture itself?
Too many people here think making a comic piece out of a serious issue equates to disregarding and disrespecting the issue. The concept of satire is lost to you guys. Do you even realize how much awareness this causes, given the correct exposure? People don't even know the concept of marital rape and that it is a real thing. And we are fighting here on how we shouldn't joke about serious issues. There's a difference between joking and demeaning. You wanna call it out? Call out to people who call someone gay as an insult. Call out to people who say things like 'X team totally raped Y team in that match!' regarding sports, as if to imply that rape equates to being victorious. Yes, we have marital rape as an issue. Let's take a productive approach to tackle it instead of shaming a harmless and somewhat enlightening comic. Thank you.
Exactly, the words 'rape' and 'gay' are used so off-handedly nowadays, and gay is even used as an insult and a slur, which it is absolutely not! People like to pretend that they're really progressive and stuff, but they're the complete oppsite.
"Just because she said I DO doesn't mean you never have to ask again". The most brilliant line I've heard in relation to this topic. Superbly presented take on this issue man.
I wish more men watch this video. I know once a husband (very well educated professional) once tried to have sex with his wife. Wife said she didn't feel like. His response was,"how does it matter? I married you. It doesn't matter what you want to do". And that response stuck with her like a worst nightmare. Men out there acting very decent, talking very politely can be messed up in heads. Be careful ladies, especially before you decide to marry someone. I hope those kind of men watch this, I hope this video helps them grow mentally, emotionally. Daniel, if you really are a good person like you sound, your mother has done a great job raising you.
I'm sorry but I think some people are just brain dead or too corrupted to understand what's not in their selfish interest or what doesn't confirm their beliefs. They do not understand logic. Some do after arguing for an hour, some are just too hard to be moulded. We can only try to find less selfish, caring and kind people.

the jibes you took at Female Infanticide and Foeticide and the way the audience sat there with their asses glued wondering whether to laugh or cry or clap was brilliant. I can't thank you enough. This was brutal man. You talked about sensitive issues like Dowry and marital rape without breaking a sweat. In your previous video you were talking about students committing suicide and it was a brilliant sarcasm. You are a gem Daniel. Keep up the good work. I would love to watch you shows live. If you ever perform in Delhi I will be there.
I really respect you a lot man! We need more people like you to take such things and speak abt them in public and educate them....I guess comedians do more for this country than the politicians 😊
I can’t believe there’s a debate that any type of rape should not be criminalised. It’s so disappointing. But I appreciate all the people talking about it.
Found this today. Respect man! If only people had your kind of maturity. On the other side, it is so endearing to see many understood the lesson you imparted.
It's horrifying people still laughed hearing the sandwich making section...5:00...the audience is either drunk like shit or has a twisted sense of humour...
I laughed too. I can relate because it happened to me too (we weren't married but in a relationship). Humor can sometimes help a person cope, like it does in my case. Bringing awareness is a good thing, even in shape of comedy.
Just today, I watched a Crime Patrol episode (Don't ask me why, even I don't know) where a lady kills her husband because he hit and would sleep with other women. And then, I listen to this.. 9:21
Oh my god I thought it was a recently released video in 2022 and I just found out this was released in 2015- baapre India still hasn't changed...disappointed in the Indian government
I was surprised to see such a topic being frankly talked about, but it was a pleasant surprise. People in India wouldn't let their daughters think about finding rape offensive, let alone marital rape.
Never ever did a comedian brought such a sensitive topic and made comfortable yet logical jokes around it. It very gutsy of him to come up with something so sensitive. Good job
These kinds of situations throw me into a dilemma. Here, I am dreaming about helping my country, trying to work hard so one day my country will be able to match with the world leaders. I dream of being a tech entrepreneur who could someday participate in throwing my country's economy to the top and provide it with the most high-tech and advanced defence mechanisms but how do I encourage myself when the same country refuses to protect me, refuses to even acknowledge me as a human being! How do I convince myself to not run away from this place?
Hi Dan, To start with, I loved your act. I liked the way you presented this sensitive issue of marital rape and took potshots of legal system, the 'pavement' chapter and son 'being not rejected'. Yes 'No' is frustrating but it is important to take it for the one we love. Thanks
To discuss such a serious topic, without making fun of it, without it being mocking towards the topic, without being offensive, and still having humour, it is a true skill you have.
Daniel....Lots of respect to you for raising and dealing with the issue in such a delicate and intelligent matter. Glad tht people like you exist. All the very best.
I had seen you once when you had come to Jai Hind college in Mumbai. I started watching your acts and video, and realised that all your acts are about social issues and how you address them, I mean with the humour... loads and loads of respect you sir! you should express yourself more!!
+Veeraj Shenoy And women can??? The fact is no one, not a kid or an ageing old man, can, but some can fight back stronger than others. Strong doesn't have to be good.
Lol....indian women are afraid to propose a man because of rejection and you are complaining about men, the thing what you should teach men these days is self respect.
What pains me is that 100 percent of the comments opposing Criminalization of Marital Rape are from Indian men. Your arguement is true; most of the rape charges in India are fake. It's a statistical fact, so don't bash me for it. I'm a medical student and I've read about the physical and mental state of a woman after forced sex. So while it may be difficult to determine whether the sex was consensual or not, it is awfully easy to tell if the sex was forced. Only if the victim is examined within a few days, that is. Most of the cases filed by women for dowry harassment are fake as well. But does that mean we should not have a law against it? The point is, every law has a flaw. Almost all domestic crimes are fundamentally difficult to prove, due to the apparent lack of corpus delicti. But that doesn't mean there shouldn't be a law against it. Rape of wife by husband is wrong. That's it.
Section 375 IPC-- A man is said to commit “rape” if he-- penetrates his penis, to any extent, into the vagina, mouth, urethra or anus of a woman or makes her to do so with him or any other person; or inserts, to any extent, any object or a part of the body, not being the penis, into the vagina, the urethra or anus of a woman or makes her to do so with him or any other person; or manipulates any part of the body of a woman so as to cause penetration into the vagina, urethra, anus or any ~ of body of such woman or makes her to do so with him or any other person; or applies his mouth to the vagina, anus, urethra of a woman or makes her to do so with him or any other person, under the circumstances falling under any of the following seven descriptions:- First.-Against her will. Secondly.-Without her consent. Thirdly.-With her consent, when her consent has been obtained by putting her or any person in whom she is interested, in fear of death or of hurt. Fourthly.-With her consent, when the man knows that he is not her husband and that her consent is given because she believes that he is another man to whom she is or believes herself to be lawfully married. Fifthly.-With her consent when, at the time of giving such consent, by reason of unsoundness of mind or intoxication or the administration by him personally or through another of any stupefying or unwholesome Substance, she is unable to understand the nature and consequences of that to which she gives consent. Sixthly.-With or without her consent, when she is under eighteen years of age. Seventhly.-When she is unable to communicate consent.
+Srishti Gautam You are just another feminist who only wants to kill all men. The only things that Men want is- 1) The right to justice should not be gender exclusive. 2) Men shouldn't be attacked without proofs just because a woman said so. Why don't you talk about situations where wives rape their husbands? Leave marriage out of the equation, even regular women keep on raping men and this is declared completely legal in the country. Women always do any crime they want and then idiots like you always promote them.
To quote the great Kanan Gill, "I'm not Sexist. But, I'm also not a Feminist. I am Happy." And I like men. Men are good. As for your points- 1. Ah, now you know what sexism feels like. (That was sarcasm, please don't cut yourself on it.) 2. Pray tell, where in my argument did I 'attack' men? On the contrary, I agree that most of the rape charges are fake. Not fake based on assumptions. They are proven to be fake. Men are the victims in such cases and I totally agree. But rape is a heinous crime; marital or otherwise. I hope you agree with me on that. I know it is difficult to prove, but that does not mean it should not be punishable. I swear I was with you till the points but that last paragraph you typed out just had me laughing for one full minute. (Too much Aitraaz, eh?).
+Srishti Gautam Wow sweetheart, still not getting it, are you? 1. Women have never known sexism. They have always been the privileged gender throughout their lives. (No sarcasm here) 2. The moment you say that men should be punished for mere allegations because rape is difficult to prove. That's a direct attack on men. I agree that rape is a heinous crime. But i completely oppose any law for rape(marital or otherwise), because in India, laws are made just to legally rape men. There is a big difference between punishing for rape, and punishing for allegation. To re-iterate my previous points- 1) What about the men who get raped by women on a daily basis, with no law, no men's commission and no helpline, who are left only with the recourse of suicide? 2) What about the men who are punished on false allegations on a daily basis, again with no recourse other than to commit suicide? To be frank, until we get a solution to these 2 questions, anyone who supports a law for marital rape can go shove it up their *** I would be more than happy to see the rapists get punished, but killing one gender is even worse than letting all rapists free. Indian courts needs a lot of growing up to do before we can have a law against marital rape.
No bro they are from so called proud rapists like us😂 Feminism made this generation worst ever Having no sense and logic If you can't love your partner why you are with husband and wasting his money Why don't you divorce and end it loser mentality feminist
@@pallavimhatre1126 maybe you should say rip to your feminist thoughts even after 4 years of this vedio we were successful to not allow making any such non sense law The only difference between you and is we won't comment for mens community we try to protect it by making logical acts 😂
@@onepoint9055 The video is not about making such law. It's about improving public views on such topic. Perhaps this guy was hoping that sm people will think over it listening to him. M nt saying that girls r right in each case, nor I m feminist. I had not written essay like u. May be volcano of ur frustration is erupting here unnecessarily. U r simply misleading things so i didn't want to answer anything else but saying rip to ur thinking. There was no need of exaggeration.
