MARITIME RAID FORCE Live Fire Range aboard USS Bataan Follow us on: / timesarchives Credit Sgt William Chockey, Cpl Matthew Romonoyske-Bean #reconmarines #marinerecon #forcerecon
My Great Grandfather a Army soldier from the Philippines was killed in the Bataan death march because he wouldn't surrender to the Japanese him and 3 American Soldiers where shot infront of Filipino and American soldiers that were also captured.
@@RaginFlanker i do martial arts with a Marine out in WA, granted Combat and The Ring are two vastly different battlegrounds, but he definitely has helped me a lot in MMA. Hes got more of a MCMAP/Grappling background while i come from a Striking background, but ever since we started training together hes helped me simplify and refine techniques for self defense as well as The Ring. So I definitely believe a US Marine is the best to have in a fight. Theyre ready everyday, i love that energy.
@@kekistani2373 I was thinking something like that too. It does say "US Marines with the 26th MEU's Maritime Special Purpose Force" in the video so maybe they get cool stuff, or they're just an extra lucky Marine unit
Glad to see them in full kit doing the bascis well making it look high speed . Our regular Army folks need more of them Hate to admit but the Corp has something going on.
I’m tracking that retired SOF guy 30 years it’s just that their process leading up was covering all the basic . Wish more of this was shared with regular guys they need it
@@stephm9397 Times have changed. This is what all combat arms MOSs do, minus some of the pistol work for some conventional infantry that don’t outfit everyone with sidearms. It’s all been passed down over the years, so everyone does very similar things, even 11Bs in conventional units, 0311s in non MEU(SOC) as well.
These aren’t just marines, they are force recon. Absolute studs. To only refer to them as marines is an insult. There’s marines I wouldn’t have running a police call.
@KZ2 Lima Ive never had laser obscuration running a peq or dbal at the front or rear of the handguard. I swear GBRS just made this abomination as an april fools and all the influencers frothed it.
I suppose if these guys do shit aboard ships, it'd be quite useful to have all that space up front to adjust your grip, with the spaces being so small, + close quarters height over bore is easily taken into account.
@British no, theres no obsuration running the peq at the rear of the handguard as u can use what ever grip u want its not going to block your laser. Got nothing to do with being on ships or cqb, its just an influencer brand that people stupidly buy. Were talking about the same company that is charging $350 usd for whats essentially a rebranded crye belt. There is zero reason to rin this thing other than giving urself an unnecessary 4 inch offset
Such upto date military gears starting from the basic plate carriers to Exfil Ballastic Helmets . We indians can only dream about such tactical gears . 🙂
@@tenzinchoerab3061 that is the saddest part . We invest a lot in modern machines and western military hardware but we lack behind in most bacis things like proper infantry rifles alo g with other tactical gears .
@@tenzinchoerab3061 a lot of these large countries don’t follow western doctrine as far as issuing hard plate body armor, optics on rifles, etc. being large doesn’t mean being advanced
@@tenzinchoerab3061 you’d be surprised. The US military has set the standard for what an individual soldier *should* be equipped with. The typical Marine and Army infantryman has a vest with level 4 plates, a ballistic helmet, carbine with an optic, nightvision goggles, IR laser, radio comma, and sustainment packs. China only just start issuing hard plates, same with South Korea, while India is a mixed bag
The lower is M27 IAR But the upper is HK416A5 you can see the front or the barrel have a little tube to adjust the gas pressure. HK416D and M27 doesn't have this parts
Fatal flaw....the Life jacket's need to be flouresent Orange with a beeper. They only work in water. Helicopter...think. Take them off before landing Hard.
@@jaydubs6354 yeah I like 1.93s too. I ditched my Unity stuff. To tall & added unnecessary weight. Unless you’re basically full time CQB I don’t think it’s worth it.
Those PEQ mounts, i swear... GBRS really made the covers with that right? Unnecessary as fuck, will be funny when you have a problem with the pressure pad and can't activate the PEQ directly
Higher up at 6:32 looks mad that he can’t blast these force reconnaissance marines for cuffed sleeves and no blousings bc they’re better than him and he knows it 😂
@@svdcleveland no, they are literally not SOF. They might conduct special missions for the marines but they do not fall under the US special operations command umbrella so they are not SOF or SF.
@@totenfurwotan4478 If you want to get bent outta shape over command authority technicalities & designations, be my guest. They are a special operations unit. Specifically, the committed Marine Corps special operations unit. Their quals, their missions, everything they do is specialized. Special weapons & tactics, specialized insertion & extraction, deep reconnaissance, amphibious reconnaissance, maritime raid up to lvl 4, in-extremis hostage rescue, close protection. No grunt or pog is carrying out their duties.
Those dumbass pistol leashes are a major snag hazard and could get people killed. Imagine going to re holster and get back to your primary, but the leash gets wrapped around your kit, radio, rifle, etc.
They really aren’t. Considering a lot of what they do is on the water( vbss, small boat operations, etc) pistol retention is very important just in case comes lose/ you drop it in the water
