Actually is M.Mùllers guitar "inspired" of severals of some of Mark Knophlers never ending storyes. Listen to the opening theme in Dire Straits when it reach 0.34 min or just play it all. Compare to " Best guitar performence ever-(live) 4.09 min. When it reach 5.14 min in Carmen with Marius Mùller, remember Dire Straits sultans of swing in mentioned version and listen to Yotube again.Directly copied. But what can we do do? None of us created the guitar or the song? Neither our eares :)
Almost spot on SwampAshHSS. Much of the guitar solo IS "stolen" from Dire Straits! Just not "Money for nothing". It is from "Telegraph Road" from the album "Love over gold" (1982) . Don`t know that much about Marius Müller, but it is so obvious that he might even have commented his influences... But this is a VERY good song! With or without the Knopler influence! ;)
I can`t believe my ears.... this guitarist is right next to Hendrix and Vaughan. And he just played around in Norway ?? Why must the best guitarist`s die young??
Denne spilte i studio versjon på p4 samme natt som dødsbudskapet kom.... Jeg bare måtte kjøre ut til siden.... DA klarte jeg ikke mer.... Kanskje den tristeste dagen for norsk musikk!
does it matter? NO! he wasn't a Knopfler knock off, he was himself. and it is written KNOPFLER, you should learn how to write names correctly when you first mention them.
