A Hall of Fame career yet not in the Hall while lesser players are. He scored in every way, post-up, pull-up, 3 pointers, driving, layups, in every way. And he passed and ball-handled better than most can.
Think his reputation as a moody, temperamental star was unfair, though he might not be a HoFer due to his lack of longevity and poor defence. Do believe he was a better scorer (and player) than Dantley though, who is a HoFer.
@@currypiston That is a REALLY tough question.. I'd say they're about equal and personally are two of my all time favorite players to watch growing up.. Bernard King too and Terry Cummings
@@currypiston-Aguirre was head and shoulders better than Dantley. Better one on one skills, better perimeter shooter, better ball handler and passer and more athletic.
These skills are exactly why Detroit wanted him to get that title. Dunks, post ups, jumpers off the dribble, 3 pointers, fast breaks, basically giving up a Buffett on his feasts.🎉
