Been a Town supporter for 59 years since i was 8 years old when dad took me to my first match. Can honestly say i've never been prouder of the team. Great ambassadors for the game. Lovely spirit.
My dad was a fan during the Southern Amateur League days and told me about the Aston Villa game in the FA Cup when 28,000 attended. His, and my mum's love for our club has stayed with me since my first game as a four year old in 1954. It's wonderful to hear this conversation between three good men who 'get it' about Ipswich Town. Thanks for an interesting half hour.

He's a smart lad. Smartest thing he ever did was knock that ball down to Marcus Stewart in the play off semi away to Bolton, so Marcus could hit the sweetest volley from 30yrds into the top corner, in world history!
So very proud of where our club is going, if we get promoted that would be beyond belief. Keeping Kieran at the helm is key, but would understand if a top 6 club took him.
Since the new ownership group came in, we get stronger by the week. We’re so proud to be part of Ipswich and the community again. Thank you Mark, Kieran and everyone at the club.

Surprising from someone living in Bristol that every Bristol City fan I asked about Mark Ashton warned me and we're glad that he was leaving, that I don't think any single Ipswich fan can say anything other than what a fantastic job he has done. And McKenna being the biggest!
The club is in a brilliant place at the moment and many thanks to Mark and Keiran for what they have done.My one concern is the Academy.For me,it is not producing enough quality players.When is the last time we produced a decent striker.

Two truly fantastic representatives of our beloved club. I can honestly say that I have never seen the club this positive in EVERY aspect in my entire lifetime
This all goes to show what happens when the right people are in the right roles and care and effort is taken to do the right things in the right ways. It also highlights the wasted years under Evans because he failed to get the above in place.
Your opening comment is correct but it's easier said than done, and transition can take time. The previous owner didn't "get" the club at all, hence the unwise appointments and the disconnection from the community and the fanbase. The current owner(s) have healed the rift in a very short time.
@@geoffpoole483 the current owners want to make money by selling the club. That is their ultimate aim and motivation. They realise that to maximise their return they need an established premier league club. To do that they need a solid infrastructure and leadership and to maximise the fan base's support to boost income. They also need success on the pitch. But be under no illusion, when the time is right they will sell up.

What fantastic owners and manager we have best team I have seen in my life time I'm 25 and I'm loving every minute of the journey we have been on thease last 2 years we will get to the prem with the board we have now and I can't wait I love my club ❤
I hope my club, Derby, can replicate what Ipswich have done. I'm very impressed. Back to back promotions with a modest budget. Wow! I know Paul Warne doesn't have a great championship record but now he's at Derby who knows!
When Gamechanger came in I, as a lifelong Town supporter posted a message thanking Marcus Evans for his eye watering investment which saved our club. I also said to Gamechanger, unless you take the fans with you you have bought nothing. Well look at us now, just look. As fans we will always be here, it's our life and always will be. What you have achieved as a team top to bottom is as big a success as anything gone before 55 years as a Town supporter.
As someone who's followed Town for >20 years, this has to have been my most enjoyable season since the Burley era. Feeling slightly mixed about promotion as I think it might be a bridge too far this season, but at the same time, you've got to go for it when it looks possible.
Double promotion would be a fairy tale Hopefully the media reports it i would say another fairytale is to rob edwards going ftom league 1 to epl in a such short time literally triple promotions in consecutive seasons
Kieron was wearing the same top for the pre Plymouth chat which would indicate that both MA & KN we’re about to embark on the 7 hour journey which might be a reason for the comfortable attire.
