What an incredible achievement. It's difficult to comprehend how much he's put into making it to this moment. He is a true legend of cycling and of all sport. Chapeau Sir Mark.

Really good report. I live not too far from the IOM in Blackpool (UK - we are 50 miles straight across the Irish sea) and have followed this great man since he came 2nd in a sprint down our Blackpool promenade as a kid in about 2005. I'm so happy that I've lived to see most of his incredible career. The up's downs, the Epstein-Barr, the depression, the sheer will to go on and prove all the doubters wrong. He's transcended sport today. This was incredible. Was a really nice wrap up. Thankyou.

Ah yes cuz cav that was 10meters ahead was the blame for that, he had a clear road beside him so he could change lane also stop hating cuz he’s better than your favorite
