enjoy this hip hop routine done by Mark Kanemura & Comfort Fedoke on week 7 of SYTYCD Season 4.. Dancers: Mark Kanemura & Comfort Fedoke Song: Party People (Nelly Feat. Fergie) Choreographers: Tabitha & Napoleon D'umo
I was never a big Comfort fan but props to her in hip hop. But I LOVE this dance because Mark owned it! He was one of my favorite contestants. Always surprised me.
The way comfort moves in this is just unbelievable. I mean, mark's doing a nice job, but comfort just BLOWS HIM OUT OF THE WATER. Every single thing she does has so much energy and bounce. I want to be her.
I'm not a Comfort fan, but she can definitely hold her own in hip hop. But the reason I LOVE this dance is because Mark completely owned it! I hardly even notice her standing next to him!
Even though the judges may not to like comfort, shes one of the best hip hop dancers they ever had on this show so she gets to be the all star on this show now.
nappytabs didn't have to give the easier parts to the female dancer this time, which sometimes hip hop choreographers on this show have to do....comfort can do all the moves that they want mark to do and hit it just as hard. no, harder. i wish more dancers like comfort would be on sytycd. truly one of a kind.
@guitarbabe21 actually they dont hate comfort they hate the was she dose her solos beacuse it dosent really showcase her full potential unlike when she dose choreography that really pushes her and shows how really good of a hip hop dancer she really is
@mohamed061996 I know!! It might sound weird, but after rooting for him all through this show, seeing him dancing with GaGa made me feel really proud of him. He's doing well!!
Mark seemed a little tentative in the beginning. I think he was nervous about pulling off the flip because after that his energy picked up a lot. Comfort, CRAZY!!!!
@xGreydaysx thank you!! everyone says the new stage is amazing. i feel like you cant reallysee them. i mean on the smaller stage at least you got to see every detail. now i feel like you have to be over the top for everything. and nothing looks good anymore.
@ShakeItPeacock619 For me, it's not about the stage as much as the lighting. This stage is much brighter and well lit that you can see the dances really well. With the new stage, the background is so dark and harder to see the dancing as a viewer. Maybe that is why people are complaining about it (??) JMO tho.
I hate that people get mad that she didnt go to some fancy school. What diff did it make..She is what you call a prodigy in her case it was hip hop dancing. I mean does a pianist prodigy deem less qualified than someone taught?
@thebellrang Yeah I agree with females getting kicked off before the males, I mean look at this season...and Yeah I love Janette too, I thought she would at least make the top 4...and I agree that they do have a lot of diversity on the show which I love, but I just wish that the black females were noticed more when they are obviously just as talented.
somehow I don't feel that, the Mark guy is a hip-hopper. May be a dancer, May be handsome but not hip-hopper. Somethings missing. On the other hand the girl is really rocking it.
@thebellrang I dnt think it was cuz she is black...its cuz she's only good in her own style. However, this show has done a poor job of picking good black females. There was 1 black girl season 6 who basically did everything right & for some reason she still didn't make the top 20, then the same girl came bck,& they didn't show her much except when they rejected her...& their r 3 seasons were their aren't any black females at all. They seem to love the black males with the "no training" stories.
@thebellrang Also I thnk the judges, judge the girls on looks and black girls usually don't have the Eoupean look to them so they get rejected. I even memeber nigel imitating 1 black girls facial expressions even though she danced very well, what was the point of that? He told her that she needed to work on her personality, but if you remember Kayla (season 5) who was technically good but didn't have much of a personality either & they let her through. Y couldn't they give her the same chance?
I think comfort was sad because everyone was saying she shouldn't have been there, even the judges, there are even people that are mad that she is back in the all-stars group even though she's only dancing her own style which is what she is best at. I love this routine and I love both mark and comfort. Glad to see them both back this year. Season 4 was defiantly the most entertaining, even tho I think season 3 had the most talented dancers.
you people need to stop complaining about the stage...the name of the show is "so, you think you can dance?"..NOT "so, which stage do you prefer?" if the dancers are still able perform, then you as a viewer should not be worried about the stage! now give me a thumbs down if ya want but you know i'm speaking truth here!
@chapstik941 I FULLY AGREE WITH THIS COMMENT MAN HAVE NEVER SEEN A GIRL THATS SO EMOTIONAL WHEN THEY DANCE TO HIP HOP I MEAN SHE KNOW WHAT KINDA FACE EXPRESSION TO HAVE WHEN SHE NEED TO HAVE THEM HER BODY MOVEMENT IS ON POINT I LOVE HER SHES THE BEST 4 I EVER SEEN
comfort was freaking out there!! she's the best female hip hop dancer ever!!! though mark was a little off in this routine, anyone could tell that comfort is a better hip hop dancer than mark, who's a boy...
i love this dance. i think all season long the judges were unfair to comfort. they picked on her for no reason. she wasnt as bad in the other dances like they said
