People were different back then. The way he walked out in the audience and talked about them brought them up on stage and called them out. Even had the lady’s purse 👜 on stage. Not one person got mad. They all had a great sense of humor

Man, I've been searching for this special for years. I had read something about there being a rights dispute over this special between Curry and HBO. I knew it was only a matter of time before somebody finally got this off an old tape and put it up, you're doing god's work. Cheers!
I’ve waiting for years for someone to post this!!!! I’ve tried to tell people about this special. The hardest I ever laughed was when he jumped on top of the seats to get a better look a “Mooky.” 😂
I saw this when it first came out and after all these years I still consider this the funniest stand up I've ever seen, being a lifelong fan of stand-up all genres
Just saw him on tour with Katt a couple nights ago. There was a solid line up including Mo'Nique & Tommy Davidson - Mark was hands down the funniest of them all. I was laughing through his entire set. His facial expressions alone are hilarious. He still has this energy. I'm glad Katt put him back in the spotlight & he's getting the recognition he deserves.
Not only martin but if you look closely you can see where Dave Chapelle got his sketch show characters from. 👀 Mark is a comedy Legend. The dude opened up for Richard Pryor. Not a lot of comedians can say that.

Exactly the beginning and ending of marks special is basically Dave Chappelle show. The white face character and the crackhead dude. Mark curry is a comedy legend. He’s one of the few comedians to actually open up for Richard Pryor. People really have stealing his material for years. 😂 check him out on his new willie D interview right after Katt or before.
