Funny that you say that. I’m obviously younger and of a different generation but the reason I first wanted to learn guitar was because of Holy Grail always being used as like an outro song after channel ten afl broadcasts in the mid 2000s. And I later stumbled across this song and learned it. Until now, I had no idea this song had a connection to Aussie rules but now that feels like a cool “full circle” kind of thing.

Met Mark back in the late 80's when he played at the Bell Street Rock in Preston, Melbourne... we were support act. He was down to earth and an all-round decent bloke. America's loss was our gain.
Was that around the area of between Gilbert Rd and St George's Rd intersections. I used to go to a venue around there that had great cover bands in the early nineties. It was a bit rough but great music. The crowd were 20s and 30s.
@LeopoldoNotarianni-rk9vv May well have been mate, I couldn't really tell you for sure now, haven't lived in Melbourne for some time. Only played there twice back in the late 80's. It was definitely a bit of a dive though, I remember our roadie freaking out about someone ODing and dying in a toilet stall.
