About the weirdness of the accuracy of calling someone a motherfucker... that was what I called my father throughout most my childhood. I stopped using it when it stopped being accurate. "They're still together but they are rather too open about their lack of action with one another then again one might be going through menopause and the other is a fifty year old man so not fucking might be fairy normal."
