This video was shown during the MND Scotland Shindig in March of 2024. Mark speaks about his diagnosis and the support he has received from MND Scotland throughout his journey.
MND Scotland is here to support people with MND, their friends and family. Without effective treatments or a cure, people affected have told us that what’s most important to them is making the most of every moment. That’s why, at MND Scotland we’re here to provide a helping hand of support to enable them to do exactly that. We want to make time count.

Incredible video Mark, thanks for discussing and highlighting this horrible disease which affected a good friend of ours. You are a brave man and I wish you and all the family all the best in this moment and hopefully a long time in the future. Take care 👍

I can't imagine how tough this must be for Mark and his family, MND is a devastating disease, one which I'm currently showing symptoms of myself. Hoping for a cure ASAP. Wish you and your family all the best mark.

@@JamerBubutan Hi, I've been experiencing body-wide twitching for almost 6 months, myoclonic jerks, neck pain, internal vibrations, hand and thumb tremors, potential atrophy in both FDI muscles and recently my muscles feel tender as if they are taking ages to recover from workouts. Currently haven't lost any strength, still working out 4 times per week.

@@andrewlaidlaw1070 I did labaratory test like 2 months and 3 weeks ago they found out i had UTI and now that UTI and infection is gone maybe this could be the side effects of the pills i took when i was sick idk i'm just so lost and wants answer and make sure i feel 100% fine.

@@JamerBubutan my doctor doesn't seem to be concerned but I am going to see a private neurologist in April. Hopefully, nothing too concerning is going on. Body-wide twitching without weakness or serious atrophy isn't a concern to medical professionals
