What an idiotic thing to say. Believe it or not, people can change from how they were 20+ years prior. The things that Fuhrman described on those tapes was indeed reprehensible and abhorrent, but think about it this way: isn't a reformed racist better than someone who is still racist? Martin Luther King said that in his dream the former sons of slave owners and the former sons of slaves could sit at the table of brotherhood together not hold grudges and hostility towards one another. It really is telling of our contemporary society where we are so quick to dispose of individuals like they're trash rather than having a dialogue and trying to understand each others mindset. Rather than feeling "incredibly uncomfortable" about Fuhrman sitting next to a black woman, maybe you should instead feel uncomfortable about how narrow minded you are.
So basically it's ok to murder human beings(acquittal or not) and be on trial for the alleged crime and afterwards be hailed as some kind of hero, wonderful role model and ex jock? But a cop who simply used the "n" word in his past life(very common for that time in history btw)and tapes revealing it should be treated WORSE then a man who allegedly took two lives brutally and savagely?! The details Fuhrman gave in those tape recordings were too detailed to be dismissed or to think those situations didn't occur and he hadn't been there to witness it first hand.

Everyone in the world knows the butcher got free because of a joke of a justice system and stupid jurors who did not understand DNA or forensic evidence! How the lawyers who defended him sleep at night ,still escapes me. In every normal country with all that INSANELY overwhelming forensic evidence,the slaughterer would have been sentenced to life prison.
